Boris said he wants Western Countries to abandon fossil fuels by 2030 but developing countries including China to possibly have a think about it and get back to him by 2040 .

Weaponising fuel costs under the pretence of saving the planet whilst our heating costs go through the roof is just another squeeze on the general public .

 

Once Macron rallies the EU troops I have a feeling that all the tears are going to be the UK's. I can see every lorry held up at Calais as The French check their manifests...slowly.

The alternatives that they're pushing at present are quite liable to not only increase carbon dioxide emissions, but also the emissions of gasses that have an even greater global warming potential, all for additional costs to the consumer.

I think you are wrong there. It's not just French boats affected but potentially Dutch, Belgian and Spanish. It's going to be easy for the EU to boss it. It's 26 v 1.
