The not606 Toon 'clique'

So, what's the decision? Just logged on and see this thread has made it to 12 pages. I only get half an hour lunch so no time to trawl through them all.

There is a bit of one but its easy enough to ignore for the most part. I think it was Skalpel that mentioned how its easy to miss someone without a recognisable signature etc, I'm the other way completely and just think on the quality of posts so there's only an odd few names I'll remember. I'm not really here to make friends, I'm here to discuss NUFC with a wide variety of people to get a wide variety of views, which is what I get out of it. Well that plus token abuse from wor Tash who sadly is a name I recognise too often.

 

I personally don't think there is one, just certain members who make more effort than others in getting to know each other. (By chatting **** about our lives, basically ha) I try to get along with everybody, no matter what, and wouldn't ignore someone just because they have never posted as much, or don't have a signature/avatar. Leazes doesn't have an avatar. Warm Pouch also doesn't have either, but to me is one of the most recognisable members on this forum which some of the best posts.

 

Agreed, Leazes and Pouch are two of those I do look out for, and I daresay you and Overseas would get by without a noticeable avatar. Its not bad at all to be fair, and far better than the old days when most threads would be 'daft internet meme photo', 14 people saying REP!, and nothing much else. I can see how it could be annoying to new folk though who walk into a banter war in an otherwise decent thread.

 

I don't NEED an avatar i just think mine is awesome.

 

Aye, it's just the way forums go. There's naturally going to be some banter/'in-jokes'(as much as I hate the term..) that some members aren't involved in, purely because they weren't a member when it was originally said. What're we supposed to do, scratch and get rid of all jokes every time there's a new member?
Rep did get a bit silly and was just a massive 'orgy' more often than not, but some members did specifically give it to some members more than others. But y'know

It's all good. There's few members, if any at all, that I don't get on with, so to speak. Or disregard purely because of their post count/avatar(or rather lack of) etc. That's just daft and anybody who does that is an idiot.

I've posted like 5 times in it and I honestly have no idea. Joker complaining that some of us are in some sort of exclusive group? And other members are excluded. He's right, to an extent. In one group is Joker, and in one group are the rest of us.
