Always played his heart out for us while he was here, whatever position he was asked to play, and was on the wrong end of some poor management decisions in the period before he sold out, (its happening here again imo.) ,and the nature and destination of his leaving did leave a sour taste, nevertheless I am pleased he has kept plugging away, and he played well last night, and unlike Grabban, so I wish him well.

    Quite right.
He played his heart out for us, and SAFC didn't treat him well.
So he 'up sticks and left'.

The lowest paid player in the First Team, he owed the Club nothing.

Did he **** play his heart out, he went missing in loads of games, when he went to the mags I warned a mag mate of mine about this, and he said it was sour grapes. Not long after he text me to say ' missing in action '

    Pish.

He was an academy graduate so being on a low wage on his first pro contract is a given. I'd wager he was offered improved terms but also offered a it more up the road. This coupled with his disease meant he was always leaving.

Just proves there are two ways of looking at everything. the games I saw him playing for us suggested that he did give his all, and he seemed always under-rated at Sunderland imo. I don,t know what went on at Newcastle, but I suspect it might have been a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire, so its good to see him getting a third chance and he for one, has my best wishes.
