Did anyone hear that when we got a corner the Sky-idiot said "The Shelf is really making some noise now"? Total ****er, we were attacking the Shed!
I can't be too critical tonight tbh. Correct formation picked. The players gave everything and were genuinely unlucky in the end imo.
Clear foul on Adomah right in front of the R block in the lead up to their goal. The linesman on this side wouldn't give us a funking thing all night.
We are still 5th albeit played a game more, we are there or there about, 4-6th still available to us, I’ll take it
It does seem to be us against the world at the moment......or at least the world full of refs. .....and linesmen.
Not sure there was much of a foul there tbh and they definitely should have had a penalty. Stopped the rot. Move on.
Must admit that made me chuckle........that was the ESPN commentator who I thought was rather good except for that........ his take was that Forest edged the first half and we edged the 2nd half..........maybe on balance he was correct as although they had a lot of the ball they didn't really look that threatening.........
25 mins in I'd have bitten your hand off for the draw so not too bitter a pill. Objectively a draw is a reasonable result. However, we've leaked too many goals at 90+ and that has to stop.
Good championship game with probably a fair result if you’re watching as a neutral. Always gutting to lose to a late equaliser, even more so when it’s a cruel deflection. Wierd how we seemed to have the slight upper hand in the last 20mins yet I felt we were always susceptible. We really needed that win and will, I am sure, find ourselves down a few places after this weekends games. Hope we’re not seeing that slump hitting us. As Col says, we need a confidence build pretty quickly.
Several opportunities at 1-0 to put it beyond doubt but you have to call it as poor finishing. I am sure Warburton will be saying that we have to take our chances. The biggest issue from tonight’s game is two more what looked like muscle injuries. Why are we not seeing games out? Fatigue maybe, we really didn’t need that cup game on Tuesday. We are still punching above our weight this season and hopefully we can maintain a top ten position but we are probably at least four points down on where we should be now.
Stats Possession 40/60 Attempts 13/4 on target us..... 12/4 them Ordinarily I'd say it was a point gained, but we know otherwise........
This is the thing. Fifth by some miracle, when we have played some lovely football on and off but haven’t dominated a single game this season, from where I sit. This time last year, albeit on fewer games because of lockdown, we were 16th. We’re doing ok, the players like each other and try hard, we let too many goals in but it seems that Warbs can live with that. Albert immense again tonight, in a different way, just covering the ground. He can’t keep this up surely, running on love for the club.
I don't disagree with that really Col, but at the end of the day it's another individual error that's cost us all 3 points. We were outplayed for long periods but they never truly looked like creating the killer moment. Dunne has no need to throw himself aimlessly at the ball it's going straight down Dieng's throat ffs ! It may be instinctive but in my eyes it's clueless. Fair play to Johansen 2nd half, he stepped up big time on 1st half performance. Dozell wasn't bad either but Uncle was superb all night just lacked any real support at times. Incredible block on Dykes just as he was about to put the game to bed. Lastly Chair should never have been subbed for Amos, still possesses the ability to score out of nothing. If anyone had to go it should've been Willock who looks a shadow of the player he was in first 7 games. Worrying
Beeb text... Phew. What a game. Breathless. Nottingham Forest avoid back-to-back defeats as Jack Colback strikes late on from distance, to cancel out Lyndon Dykes' first-half effort. It was a absorbing, breakneck game throughout, Forest having the better of the second-half, QPR looking to have done enough in the second. Points shared. And breathe folks.
Absolutely gutted. That was a fantastic committed performance from Rangers that deserved 3 points. Our press all over the pitch was excellent despite this being our third game in a few days and with several players visibly tiring towards the end. No lack of spirit in this side. Johansen MOM.
Isn’t this the typical opening of a QPR report:- Jack Colback scored his first league goal since March 2019 as Nottingham Forest salvaged a point in a dramatic finish against Queens Park Rangers at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
