I know it’s a tough one mate as one of closer ones to us. Can’t be helped but thank you for trying though

    No problem mate ...

... all you'll need is some pepper spray, some tie wraps and a false beard.

I can lend you some if you're short.

If we keep in the top two there's going to be some difficult games ...

... I really hope it's sorted before the last away game at Morecombe.

Latest response from the FSA ...

    Hi

Thank you for getting in touch and sending us copies of your replies from South Yorkshire Police. Our caseworker has been keeping an eye on this and covering it on Twitter (@Faircop).
It will be interesting to see if SYP responds further to your query as, while they state it is a licensing issue, it is unlikely that local police forces have no involvement in licensing decisions.

Many fans appear to have changed plans in response to this decision which reflects how law-abiding the vast majority of football fans are. It is unfortunate that authorities in Rotherham do not recognise this. It also means that the publicans will miss out on considerable revenue that could have been spent in their establishment.

Please let us know how your experience at Rotherham is

    Regards

Most lads I know are now drinking in Sheffield and getting the train to Rotherham. Sheff Utd are at home to Blackpool so there's more likely to be trouble than if Rotherham hadn't gone into a panic

Went to Rotherham for a pre-season friendly 3 or 4 years back and they have a nice new stadium in the middle of a craphole of a town. We could smash the town up and no-one would notice. Friendly club, though. Took my wheelchair-bound lad and they really couldn't have been more helpful. I was so impressed I wrote a letter and that does not happen too often...

I have fond memories of Rotherham. Worked there in 73. I think my memory may be distorted by us winning the cup that year though.

Cup tie when SKP got four in a 5-0(1) win, they must have collected all those bricks cos we had a taste of them as well.
That was their old ground of course hope they're better behaved these days, if not tin helmets for those attending:emoticon-0148-yes:

    No mate, impossible for me.

    I may make Tuesday though.

I'm 40% of the way to a Rotherham ticket for you but a few hoops to jump through yet.
