    The Stone Roses are immense,the best thing to come out of Manchester.....in fact the only good thing to come out of Manchester.....oh & Adam Clayton of course

    Can't stand Stone Roses or any of that Mancunian crap, except of course for The Smiths.
    As for the old gits getting back, no wonder as individual performers they did very little (except for Ian Brown occassionally) and they probably need the money, so good luck to em...

    Stone Roses suck!! Massively overrated band promoted by the music business marketing machine, just ****ing awful. Can't believe how kids have been conned into actually buying this ****, and now when they're grown up they still buy this ****!! Music died when MTV came on the scene. Stone Roses didn't sell music, they sold a "you're not cool unless you dress like us, cut your hair like us and tell people you have our CD" marketing strategy. For ****'s sake, can you honestly say you are able to LISTEN to a Stone Roses CD from beginning to end? If they were that brilliant they would never have split, but released at least ten plus albums. The music industry is in **** because of the poor product they produce, NOT downloads. Also, really good bands don't **** around with record labels anymore, they self promote and tour, and keep the money. Watch what happens at Christmas. The music industry bring out so much dross that they can't sell, inevitably there will be yet another Elton John, Elvis or Beatles Greatest Hits album released. Why? Those will still sell a few million and keep some bucks coming in. Stone Roses? ****ing record industry joke band.

    that rant sounded like you werent cool enough to be in the "dress like us & cut your hair like us" gang, so u got bullied and now youve come to rant about it here.

    MTV killed music? it opened music up in ways people hadnt seen, played music ppl had never heard.

    If you dont like it, you dont like it...but dont ****in try and make other ppl feel like divvys for liking something u dont!!!

    300,000 tickets sold in under an hour doesnt mean a band are ****!!!

    And Mani was/is in Primal Scream...so his life away from stone roses hasnt been all that bad either.

    alot of people think Cliff Richard is **** but that didnt stop him having a number 1 in every decade from the 1950's to 2000's..there is still time for him to acheive another number 1 in this decade

    it all just sounds teh same to me. thats my thing with it. I quite like Waterfall and I Am The Resurrection ain't bad..I just find them samey.

    I was just pissing about anyway with the their **** comment (I do think they arent brilliant) but I saw Juds rant and I thought I gotta get in on that <laugh>
