Ok I get it that they have little say about club ownership, although it is their choice to not just accept the tainted ownership but welcome it and defend it.

However, this is just a lack of basic human decency and respect toward a great of the sport.

If Mr Fender is so concerned about zero hour contracts, and wage levels, it is to be hoped that he makes a contribution to their wages when he is gigging around the country.
