Well I am a football fan albeit marooned in the turd division, so stuck in a mire.


For my sins I have been ( and still am in a smaller way now) involved in charity work, human not animal.

 

I’m thinking of buying the Sunderland ground to create our academy. Would this be a good move? It won’t cost much and hopefully the current owners can ground share with the other similarly sized team in the region. Hartlepool.

I am and have been involved in charity work for many years, however I don't feel the need to use that fact as a point scoring exercise against my local rivals on a football forum. Whilst I applaud you for your work, don't let your rather immature bitterness against us sully the good you do.

Everybody knows why money is important in the Premier League. If you don't have it you are in bottom half of the division. Hoping to keep the score down against the top half sides and to win enough points against the bottom half sides not to get relegated. The fun games are those in the cups and any local derbies.

So yes Saudi has pots of money and if nothing else matters other than being a top side... you are happy...some fans in all football clubs would go with this.

Beckham is taking some stick atm for taking money from Qatar, poor human rights and bribed their way to host World Cup.

It is blood money, however it is dressed up. Will this fact have any impact... probably not... sadly.

I'm sick to the back teeth of people acting like mother Theresa when something doesn't suit them.

Not once in my life have I ever cared about Saudi Arabians problems and the same applies for the mass majority of fans crying about it today.

If they care so much about human rights why did we all vote to close our borders?. Fron the people trying to escape
