It's heart in mouth time every time the ball comes into our box. Loovens is Jekyll and Hyde.

To think what could have been if it but for one moment of utter madness...

Not sure. I thought Muldini did ok. Glenda obviously not as good. Matthews got exposed a bit. Not his fault at all.

Rennies obviously the better side on that showing but there are some good things to come of it.

subs wise, I thought young Forrest had given it all in 80 minutes and could have came off.....then he launched on a run, so maybe not.

Pick a back four and stick with it. Each and every individual has made mistakes so in my eyes they're all culpable. But maybe just maybe the mistakes might become rarer if it was a settled outfit.

And good result tonight btw <ok>

I was disappointed in Forrest and ki tonight , thought Kayal and Victor did ok , Stokes showed nice movement up front , we just don't play as a team , for once I will praise the big goalie couple of cracking saves near the end

I thought we played well last night, apart from at the back of course.

Stokes put in a good shift in what is a very frustrating one man up front role. Kayal and Wanyama did well and Ledley did his usual effective job. Ki blew hot and cold throughout the game. Forrest didn't really get into the game.

As for the defense: Matthews struggled, especially in the first half but he was left exposed a lot of the time. Mulgrew did okay. Loovens was his usual Jekyll and Hyde. A couple of great defensive clearances followed by his usual lapses in concentration. As for Du-Ri? Actually, let's not go there again.

Forster had a great game. A couple of cracking saves.

Overall, a decent performance and an away point in Europe.

i didnt see it as it wasnt on in Oz, however, when i saw the result i thought thats not too bad. Then when i saw the highlights and the goal it took a bit of gloss off the result.

still we need to keep a clean sheet on sun which is easier said than done. Was loovens any better than that big swedish ****er has been of late?

He was better in terms of clearing the lines when it needed to be cleared. He was Majstorovic-esque when it came to allowing opposition forwards get in behind him.

On the balance of things I would give Loovens the nod ahead of the big Swede.

    I would too.

One point at the end Loovens did his whole 'throw the foot at the ball to get in the way of the ball bit', instead of his whole body. It had deflection.....goal written all over it. luckily he missed.

Cha laughing had me in a rage last night, I very nearly smashed the pub up. He had time and space we know Foster is dodgy at kicking should have moved the ball out to the right. Roster was far too far up the park to, first time he leaves his line and look what happens great save at the end though.

Needed to win to have a chance of going through so we are out now undone by our own stupidity. I'm embarrassed.

I sympathised with Cha after I got over the initial shock, he made a right **** of it but it was kind of funny and I think his smile was more one of disbelief rather than 'Ya dancer'. I'm just wondering how we're going to manage to eclipse it with our next trick!

I said the same last night. Every game we've played in this compo we've shot ourselves in the foot. Penalties, sending offs, own goals, you name it, we've done it.

I thought last night was one of the few times the team was set up well and that we kept our shape well and we played as a team. If we can build on last night's display we could yet have a successful season. Apart from Cha/Forster which really was unbelievable there was more to praise than criticise.
For one of the few times this season our centre backs did not look to be totally fragile. This I think was down to Wangama and Kayal who both had good games sitting basically in front of them. (One poster did not Kayal to ever play again for Celtic after Saturday). We are not Man City we cannot dispense with one of our top players.
I like Matthews but I was surprised Mark Wilson wasn't picked last night ahead of him. The other three midfielders Forrest KI and in 2nd half Ledley did very well at times but faded out for short spells. Stokes may have been out muscled at times, but did create good chances for himself.
    Good all round performance.

Someone posted after Killie game that Forster did not leave his line enough. ( Be careful for what you wish for!)
Fans seemed to be brilliant all night.

If Samaras had been playing we may have won by two or three goals.

Pud, calm yourself. You make a fool of yourself to easy. I was only trying to see what reaction I would get and at least Stereo replied with humour but God you are so predictable. It must be a journey full of laughs if ever you go to Celtic Park.

Pud If I Am boring chief
I feel that I have to say you are dull and boring. I have to say that because there is a constant negativity running through your posts with a mingling of sniping and cutting at your own fellow supporters but if that is how you get your kicks nowadays, I will not stand in your way.
When the hell did I become a chief? You would have thought someone would have the decency to tell me.
