Are we a better team with McGeady or without.

With, when he performs as we all know he can. Unfortunately I don't think he can justify his place in the team on his current form.

McGeady on form playing wide quickly to get in a cross or a shot then better with him but otherwise not

He's a good player on his day but on current form don't think he can justify his place in the team plus I'm not sure this formation suits him

On present showing I’d say not mind the manager has to take some criticism for leaving him on the pitch Saturday

on his day almost unplayable in this league as they never know what he is going to do...but as i said in the other thread he has not looked his best and he is one of those players (like gooch for example) when they have a bad day at the office it affects the whole team.

needs to be fit to be included.

A fully fit, fully engaged Geads is a no brainer. The trouble is I don't think he has been fully fit at any point this season.

The problem isn’t Geads it’s the manager not changing it sooner or at all. Or taking Neil off when he’s playing well.

I think this is a season too far for him; he's getting caught out too often and having the ball taken off him. His little tricks aren't working and again, he loses the ball. It's time to give him a rest and get his injury sorted out properly.

    I have to agree.

He's great to watch when it works but he becomes too much of a focus for the opposition but also his team mates.

Impact sub for me these days ....

Normally I agree with most of your thoughts but I don’t think I have seen him come on as a substitute and make a massive impact on many or any games I have seen his introduction to the fray . I think Father Time is catching up with him and it’s up to LJ to see earlier that nothing is happening for him and make the change when he starts as opposed to when he finishes . I don’t think we have to write him off but if it’s not happening don’t leave it too late before hooking him for an a suitable alternative .

I think it's fair to say he made a pretty good impact last night.

I think giving him the captaincy was a bad decision. Has it impacted on his game? Take the captaincy away and lets see if he improves. Deffo not a 90 minute or 2 games a week player.

Looked good when he came on against QPR
Wasn't at the races against Charlton and should have came off and in general has been poor this season
Maybe that's injury or an age thing
no doubting his ability to change a game though and he is a fantastic part of the squad but seems better as an impact player at the moment
