what you do not seem to grab 1for, is the jabs is not a cure, it is an aid to help the body readily adapt to the particular invasion of a disease. It puts into the bodies reference library that anti bodies of a particular type have been previously generated.
It is a given that it may take x number of days for the body to generate the anti body to fight the intruder. The jab is inert so the body does not have to actually fight the multiplication process of a live virus, so can do so with less hindrance. And when the real one comes along, it already has some ammo and whilst you may prove positive, indeed actually have the discomforts for a short while, not being pre armed could cause problems especially should your immune system be weaker than average.
As for the traffic lights, well the law says you must stop, but not fool proof , you are still in an area that is dangerous, and subject to other factors that might endanger you. Even the police cant be certain of what you should do as happened to me a few years back ... was pulled over because went through a light changing to amber at about 30mph within the speed law.. explained why [reasoning], took some earache and drove on. A few months later on main road into Liverpool again within speed limit, lights started to change as I was close so slowed rapidly and stopped [ not in cyclist box ] Policeman behind got out told me to pull over when lights changed and started on about stopping so quickly on lights he nearly went into me EXPLAINED THE PREVIOUS event and asked so which is right?

No one said when you’ve been jabbed you don’t get it anymore. What it does is help prevent you being hospitalised or dying from it. Then the hospitals are not rammed and able to treat other things. And that is what you’ve been banging on about since the beginning.

I have determined my " side effects" had my flu 24 hours before 3rd jab ... it seems I get a sort of "cramp" in my shoulders [ muscles ] to fingers [ like feeling squeezed ] lasts for 48 hours but only when in bed! ... today everything fine ..

one thing that is noticeable is how the figures for each aspect vary, and interpretations are vague. 2 of the peeps on JV show commented on lack of interpretation of figures

Consensus is [ but not a proven ] 1st jab runs it course and is still effective some 6 months later [ to a lesser degree ] after 2 jabs figures bandied about say after 7+ months is about 40+% effective. This means still [ as always is ] possible to get it, BUT puts you in the bracket that you probably wont figure in the " in hospital or death " figures. Current figure is about 6m are not jabbed that should/could
be. They put at risk themselves, others that could contract it and die [ like older relatives ]
I actually heard the comment reference AIDS, early days when peeps had it but said nothing and infected others. Back then peeps were prosecuted for it!
Further into JV prog: consensus was split ref repetitive jabs to keep up immune system.
Again consensus was along the lines of "we have to learn with it" [ like a "flu" ] and accept [ although death is not really a wanted or accepted ] there will be casualties. CURRENTLY as an average spread out as a daily figure 33, weekly 230 deaths from "FLU" ..
MY take is that the daily flu average + the C19 would likely be around 45 combined [ based on jabbed peeps, and current %'s ]
so WIZ, Welcome to the 95% ers........ :emoticon-0128-hi:

I have, but was staggered over time... son in law and grandson then grand daughter a couple weeks [4 ] later, then other GD 3 weeks later DAUGHTER NOT!!!! other family groups had it .
my hobby involves peeps from all over the country ... did a rough estimate via club numbers and it accounts for 2400+ peeps [ after allowing for 10% to be members of more than 1 club ... no deaths reported due to it and not heard of any victims / hospitalizations!!! this is about 1/4 of similar peeps in the hobby...... age from 1 to 97

Unlucky to have 2 friends die from it. Strange that one was in Reading, and one in Chepstow and they were within a week of each other.

I’ve had it - and Mrs R&W plus 2 of our 3 kids too.
2 of my nieces have had it - one is still isolating now.
Had the Flu jab 2 weeks ago but still waiting to be called in for the Covid booster.
