There is some truth in that headline, it's like going back to the old days, players have been culled, coaching and backroom staff reduced, Pearson openly admits to not coaching, which seems very odd, we are desperate for improvement, very worrying.

I agree to a point, but IMO, we don't play to our strengths and that's down to NP.. We look so much better when playing higher and pressing, closing their defenders down rather than sitting back, defending and clearing with a long ball or getting caught in possession at the back.......the tactics we play, again IMO are all wrong....especially at home..

PS was a forward/ winger .. CF was a defender .. can you change the mindset of an ex player of 20 years or more to do other than used to?

well just read the item through some bits 2 times some 3. Although a "report" Withers is one of the better interviewers, maybe the best?

NP is rattled [ if reporting is correct as to replies within reason ]... when Taylor Moore had a bit of a tough game.. was substituted and the same comment [ close to ] was needs protecting is a young player sent on loans and having to put up with all sorts of issues .... but out of sight! What happened to the other players getting round the player especially the captain to say " ooooops dont let it bother you we all make mistakes take a deep breath and remember it" Simpson an experienced player [ over the hill? ] does the same and mates rates steps in ... " he knows he screwed up! " ...
PS .... WELL states "PS was fed up with the way he was treated at BCFC" a loose interpretation, and keeps the event close to his chest by not being either to comment or wont commentbecause Q's may make it difficult for him [ self preservation ] to proceed with this subject.
Will City replace him? well we will all need to wait and see as he was basically coaching the attacking attributes ...............
There must be a lot of soul searching going on at the mo ..... I did sort of agree with MW pre his interview, on a comment I made last week, Chris Martin should be dropped ... NP is now in a situ where it is unlikely we will finish top 6 more likely bottom 8???? so should start taking the reins toward improving the " very good squad I have inherited once the chaff and a couple good grains have been willowed away!" ..

Losing to WBA and Bournemouth aren’t the issue, as most teams will lose to them. It’s the lack of wins and performances against the likes of Millwall, Forest, Blackpool etc that are the concern for me.

Losing to Bournemouth and WBA is fine, they have better players than us but what I can’t accept is the way the two games played out, no effort, commitment or passion on the pitch in those games, they were beaten before even getting onto the pitch.

Nige doesn’t have a lot to work with so he’s got to change things up as what is happening right now isn’t working. I like Nige and he needs time, he’s had one transfer window out of the three he said he needed, but after the reaction of fans in the ground Saturday he won’t have support much longer, I dread to think what’ll happen if we don’t get anything against Barnsley.

He has done a few interviews and stated on a lot of occassions he has a good squad just needs to get them all on the same page.
When you look at other teams during the windows they dont all go out and swap around a 8 -10 players most seem to get by on 3 or 4 most off load more than buy in as use odd home reared player.
each week a lot on here have said "what is the point of Simpson when we have so and so .... " not had any game time, so was it just an excuse to swap out Tanner? when questioned he was very abrupt!

Totally agree. I’d also go as far to highlight an unacceptable number of points dropped AFTER 90 minutes.
It’s going to happen once in a while as desperate teams with nothing to lose throw men forward searching for a last minute goal, but we’ve been victim to it far to often - unacceptably often. Add in our woeful home record it’s not good at all.
Fail to beat Barnsley and I can see the banners being dusted off.
I personally won’t be calling for his head just yet but he needs his feet held to the fire a bit more imho. Being beaten by a better side is one thing, but not getting the basics right is another.
