The fact that it's nearly 12pm on Monday and there's no news of him being sacked tells you everything you need to know.
Or Terry Neill! I'm at the point were I'd take anybody over Terry! I've supported City for a long time and this guys record in The Championship is making my club a laughing stock. Talking stock, The Allams stock and value for the club is about to go down the tubes unless they react NOW! Talk of a potential takeover should not detract in any way whatsoever for either party in doing what needs to happen now! The football being served up at present from this squad is far below what they are capable of in my humble view, not to mention the results. Some of these kids need taking out the firing line, but we have little experience able to give them a break.
You'd expect there would be communication between both parties on any potential way forward. But it gets difficult in that both would have to agree regardless ot the outcome of the sale.
A win percentage of 8.8% 34 matches, 25 defeats! No away goals in last 6 away matches matching a feat last achieved in 1925! Dreadful away day at Wigan under his tenure, lost 8 nil! From a possible 102 points available, Terry has secured just 15! With this appalling record, how the hell is this guy still here? Answers welcomed
It seems just about everything is difficult with The Allams. The financial number involved in invoking change of manager/coach now is small fry in terms of the overall deal. It'll be principles only that prevent getting shot of Terry now. The cost to The Allams of not getting rid now however could become significant if poor results continue. That's making one big assumption of course, that Ehab does actually want to sell
I'm not sure Ehab does what to sell. But I'm pretty sure Assem does and if that's the case what Ehab wants is irrelevant.
It would have to be someone out of work. Neill fits that bill. I doubt he would work for Allam somehow. Others that may come into the frame; Neil Lennon, Gary Monk, Neil Harris, Chris Hughton. I had a feeling when he was sacked at Forest that Hughton might be a possibility if the timing was right. Having said all that we'll probably end up with the coach of Tranmere's u18s or such like.
That assumes the Allams will still be in charge. Who knows, potential new owners may be prepared to pay a fee for the right man?
Yesterday they showed Manures position defensively (stats) 20th 20th 18th 18th 20th etc.... I was wondering what our stats would look like... are they available..?...
Looking at WhoScored, our stats don't make great reading. Overall 24th in the league, although I'm unclear on what that means. Unsurprisingly we're offside more than any other team, by a fair margin and one of only two teams not to have scored from a set piece. https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/2...TeamStatistics/England-Championship-2021-2022
Might not be as bad as it sounded if we could at least score in open play instead. Swansea are the other team and they're scoring more and grinding out some draws. I'd be more than happy with their current league position (16).
Of course Ehab doesn't want to sell as thanks to his father's nepotism he currently finds himself as Chairman of a Championship football club which in his eyes is far more impressive & ego boosting than working at his dad's marine generator company. Have you been to the Allam Marine website & seen how unbelivably boring marine generators are ? Assem made his money from Allam Marine & it's that money that bought Hull City. If he now wants to sell the club what Junior thinks or wants is irrelevant
