True, Greenwood is a genuine two footed talent. Imo agent ole has never found the balance with rashford, pogba and Fernandes. He's never been brave enough to drop pogba from a height and figure out the balance of this side Ronaldo now completely destroys the team ethic and we are seeing nobody track back. If he has to play then they need to change formation totally
Ronaldo can work against lesser teams but they'll get ripped to shreds against likes of LFC, MCFC and CFC. Tottenham may regret their summer dealings because they'd have walked to 4th if they'd got things right.
What a day ............thought Naby was outstanding, Konate pacy and powerful. A game like this was coming, someone was going to get a hiding. MU so poor, this game showed the huge gap between the two sides. 6 yellows and a red tells its own story
Diego is out and about on the forum, should be here soon. He will be saying how poor they defended and gave us goals. Next week he will be saying how Shaw and Wan bissaka are real defenders and Trent isn't
To be fair, United we’re due a hiding as well. Their start has been massively glossed over by fact they’ve played no top level teams as yet, and the best ones they have played they’ve struggled against. Lost v villa and Leicester. Draw with Everton. Even some of the games they won. Wolves battered them, couldn’t score then keeper threw in a shot from Greenwood. West Ham, won thanks to a last minute de gea pen save. even the Newcastle 4-1 win, that game could have finished a draw but United just took their chances compared to Newcastle. Everyone said the next 8 games are so will show how good United are. 2 defeats against us and Leicester and a win but 2-0 down against a muxh weakened atalanta and the same defensive patterns emerging. Keep playing like that and city, chelsea will have field day with them.
Spot on. Leeds is the only game they've had all season where they've remotely resembled a cohesive football team. Everton were the better side against them - Wolves, Atalanta and Villarreal was one in a million luck, they were battered in all three of those. They are in real trouble, I can see THFC beating them next week as I think OGS will play into their hands and leave spaces for Son and Kane to exploit.
Not sure. spurs are just as **** as them at the moment to be honest. I’d prob say it’s 33% chance for all 3 outcomes in that game. Certainly not one I’d be betting on
You aren't wrong but Kane will surely start scoring goals soon though. Man-for-man it's an awful matchup for United, when Son and Kane are on it United's defenders are no match for them.
Watched the earlier game and tbh Kane didn't look like he could be arsed. Let Antonio stick out a leg for the goal and his only real chance was a half arsed header straight at the keeper. Kane isn't going to whine on about not getting his move, nor will he completely down tools cause he loves his Spurs reputation as 'one of their own' too much. But at the same time he's not excatly going full on, clearly still wants out and his desire to be 10/10 for Spurs just aint there anymore.
I dont often like agreeing with you, actually never. But this time i will. But not because youre right. But Because DL said "football won this weekend" earlier and followed it by including his own bankrolled monstrosity of a club and thier younger but bigger more brash brother man city in the same post with a straight face... and he was dead to me from that point on. So yes
So, genuine question - what was your honest assessment of your team's performance, and where do you go from here?
