Just been watching footie focus & I am sick to death of hearing people saying no one will come to the north east as though it’s going to some killer island, christ it’s way over the top. Do these people think Liverpool is like New York or something? Manchester? I have family in Manchester and a lot of it is a ****hole. We’re only a couple of hours north. The dramatics of this North East **** is grating. I don’t see Oscar, Hulk. Carrasco etc complaining when moving to the famous China or Russia to play. I’ve heard Russia is really warm isn’t it? Must of been the weather. If you have the money, they’ll come. Stop been jealous c*nts and be chuffed there’ll be hopefully more competition in the English game. Rant over, sorry lads. Palace to win 2-0.
Liverpool is a complete ****hole. It makes Sunderland look like Mayfair. oh.. they will say most LFC players will live in Wilmslow etc… but NUFC players live in Darras Hall. Mira the Southern media bias trotting out a 3 decade old narrative. let the ****s think we are a hovel is what I say. It will mean less of them want to come up here.
yep. A mate from down south came up a few weeks ago for a drag so and he had a great time. The big takeout was how friendly the people were and how classy the city looked.
The weather and the stuff about the grim north im used to and I agree with them to an extent However We're going to need thick skin when we're accused of being racist one week for a few fans wearing Saudi head dresses and seeing people laugh at banners like this a few days later. We're really in for it
I remember a couple of international players complaining about life in Manchester 10-15 years ago (Carlos Tevez was one). Amazing what massive investment can do to a city in a short space of time. I never cared for Manchester, but it's a big city and it can cater well for those with money to spend. It also has a lot of leafy neighbourhoods in north Cheshire. Newcastle is a fine city. However, it's small and there's a chronic shortage of high quality neighbourhoods. Hopefully there will be greatly increased investment in Newcastle over the coming years and that will attract greater diversity. Newcastle may be a couple of degrees colder than Manchester, but I'd never trade that for all that excessive rainfall they get. Players will come here, but it may take a decade or more to attract the very best.
I think that's what he's talking about. But Mbappe and Griezmann and that will all live in Jarra where all the stars live
I tell you what kind any doubt about whether everyone hated newcastle has left the building after this takeover My god they're all absolutely crying their eyes out. Qatar is OK but Saudi is not Ffs get a grip
