    Probably.

If before the rumoured Due Dilligence started McCann was rumoured to be 1 game away from the chop, then he must be approaching that situation again.

If the rumoured due Dilligence has actually started, then the owners will probably leave the dirty work and inevitable payoff to the rumoured new owners.

If the Allams are staying in charge and he's not sacked by Xmas, without a lazarus style redemption then it'll probably all end in relegation. And not the first one, either.

So Howden. You like this post, you know the crack.

The current owners will assest strip and manage the devaluation of the club further to their own benefit if the sale fails.

It's the logical extrapolation of their current policy to do so. They have no isuue with assest stripping what we have even now if their plan fails.

We know they'll act in their own interest not the ones still paying memberships when they couldn't attend games last year, and potentially going forward if covid kicks off again this winter too.

It's about time fans stopped squabbling and supported the lads in the shirt.

No more self defeating chants from the home end.

Accept where we are and some with big bollox with connections with former regimes need to accept they are just fans like the rest of us. And can't control the multi million bullshit going on above our, the players and the current management's heads.

Right now, we need to just back the lads. Its all we can do.

And just cross our fingers and toes that positive change is possible.

Ultimately though, from what you've said the squad need to take responsibility and be accountable to those wh pay their wages though.

Not just duck criticism from fans, or Burnsy who's done more for sport an culture in this area over the last 30 years with a more consistent voice than any other public figure than I can think of.

Perhaps you can enlighten me of anyone else with a platform who still gives a ****.

Grimsby fan my ****ing arse. He's just as pissed off by the enduring incompetence as the rest of us.

I'm all ears, but knowing you're occasionally at least on the club payroll I kinda know you'll not be able to say the **** yo probably want to.

Exactly my feeling, starting to get ready to watch the game later is starting to have the same feeling of dread that I had the season before last.

How do you reckon the players feel right now?

They'll sweat blood and there be no exprerienced guide to help them.

Due to Grant,Darno, Ehabs recruitment policy that believes you don't need nous and knowhow to compete at a new level for all of them.

Much better to sign 6 ****ing midfielders instead including a crock no one would touch for a season instead of a proven steady no 4 and a proben steady No9 at the level were wanting to compete at

You can start to see game by game their confidence ebbing away. They play a lot of safe balls, sideways passing, because they are scared of making a mistake. We all know when you do that, then inevitably you do make a mistake because you are being over-cautious.

I do fear, if a team gets off to a flying start and gets an early goal or two, the floodgates will open.

Of cause, we will continue to back the players, but Wilk's for example, is just not cutting it, so what do others seeing this think? The mind boggles.

Change of coach, change of club direction towards more openness instead of attempted cancel culture and restricting dissent - and 2 or 3 exprerienced signings would see this squad safe.

If that's put that in place by January.

And we stay in touch with the league in the meantime.

True, any such outburst should be after the final whistle not during a game. I guess Fans needed at times to vent their frustration, but as you say not in a way to affect the players.

Emmanuel has only started two league games this season, those games were against Preston and Boro.

Make it three today please Grant.

I'd go 3-5-2, but McCann won't, I doubt he'll go for the 4-3-3 that he should go for either.

    --------------Ingram
    Emmanuel Bernard Greaves Elder
    ----Honeyman Docherty Cannon
    ---------Wilks Eaves KLP

I've put Wilks in as McCann almost certainly will, but I'm sure many would be happier to see Williams or even Tyler Smith played there.

I know McCann didn’t like Matt Smith’s fitness levels after the international break but I wonder if he’ll be involved today. Longman and Williams seem to be frozen out as well.

The Allams actually have not shown any real signs of asset stripping and I doubt that there will be. Incoming transfer fees have been put back into the club. The loan repayments are what they are, a return on monies invested. We have plenty on here who post about returns from investing and the Allams are no different, neither will any new owner.
Previous owners have mortgaged everything they could.
Now anyone can call me out on supporting the Allams, I don’t by the way, but you cannot say that they are asset strippers.

I've said before that after Bartlett left the club, the allams have looked after the club well considering our support and lockdown. But a football club needs news and publicity, it needs schoolkids with free tickets to improve the atmosphere and bring in future fans. The depressing silence our club is immersed in is killing the club. Thankyou allams for your gift. Now please go

The Allam's haven't looked after the club well! Only in the sense that they haven't spent (or more correctly have spent little) money in order that the wage bill remains manageable (which is sort of understandable). In pretty much every other respect they have failed miserably in looking after the club.

Re. asset stripping. They haven't asset stripped. They have spent very little.

In terms of McCann, surely he has only a maximum of only 4 more games in charge. If there's to be a takeover surely it's going to happen during the next international break, then he'll be sacked. If there isn't a takeover, unless there's some remarkable turn around, then surely the Allams would have to sack him then as we are otherwise going back down.

TBH. Its not rocket science or owt, but when an ignorant, arrogant xxxx like junior takes over a football club its bound to be a disaster. Despite last seasons highs the momentum was not maintained, hence the struggle so far. Takeover talk is, at best, pie in the sky. City will either become a yo-yo club or fall through the leagues. That sadly is the reality. But eh I guess this is nothing earth shattering.

Love a trip to Luton. Surely the only ground in the country where you can inspect someone's washing line as you enter.
