Coming from the guy that implies that women should take responsibility for men attempting to drug and rape them <doh>

Not too good at this reading malarkey are you ....

... try getting to the end of a post before you show yourself up.

This is what I actually said.

'It was you that said it and it's totally inappropriate.

Sadly, since the dawn of time, everyone has needed to protect themselves ...

    ... it's not always everyone else's fault.

Saying the focus should be 100% on men ignores the fact that women have responsibilities just like everyone else.

And saying that women don't need to protect themselves is fantasy, we're all at risk in some way.

Knowing that rapists exists means that women have some responsibility to consider their actions.'

Or are you actually saying women have no responsibility for their actions <doh>

When it comes to being drugged and raped... Women are not responsible for their 'actions' that leads to that happening.

You honestly sound like a rapist sympathiser.

Everybody can clearly see you are in the wrong with your views. That much is obvious to me but most people on here don't like to rock the boat and would rather not tell you that.

There's people on here that have been thread banned and board banned for a lot less than what you're making out. Luckily for you, you're protected by a certain mod on here so you know you've got free reign to say anything and act anyway you want.

Now climb back into your cave and get some sleep.

really?.. that is your HONEST opinion?

so you are basically saying it is fine for a woman to do as she pleases, to go around acting the big slag as if she is more than willing to take on 'all comers' and does not give a shiny sh1te about her reputation but as soon as the wrong bloke puts a foot wrong then it is all his fault and he should be hammered for it?

if that is your honest opinion then you really are a BIG part of the problem, simply blaming everything on one side is NEVER the answer as you may as well say you want a ruling where men are not allowed to leave the house alone because by your reckoning in your reply to me it is all men and only men.

years ago i remember two young lasses 'went missing', the truth was they had gone drinking and met a couple of lads so they did what was (at the time, right for them) and off they wandered into a field somewhere...quite a while later a police car pulled over to check on the two couples they saw walking along the road at that time of morning and found it was the two lasses they had been looking for, despite the fact they were all walking hand in hand and at the time made no mention to the police that they were in any kind of trouble they decided to shout 'rape' when they got home...luckily the truth came out or those two lads were looking at one hell of a sentence as both girls were 15 at the time, nobody had forced anyone.

now, read what i said again, no one should feel scared or be in fear of anyone (i know a lad that was getting the attention of a local gay barman, the lad is straight and politely declined all offers only to wake up with no clue at all as to where he had been since his last pint or what had happened to him, he had no proof except a 'feeling something was not quite right' and even went for an aids test)... i am no fan of anyone who forces anyone to do anything against their will and while i agree that certain men certainly do need to look at how they treat women you also have to add that women need to stop giving out the wrong messages a lot of the time, it will take 'both sides' to work together and as i keep saying there is only one way to stop a rapist or pedo but that is also illegal.

listen marra, you seem intent on causing arguments here...NO ONE has said if women get drugged and raped that it is all their fault, you are picking parts of a sentence to make one that fits your argument and you are certainly not trying to discuss a serious subject here.

smug is pretty much like me in the fact that if we caught a rapist it is extremely unlikely he would ever think of raping again so the way you assume everyone else feels the same as yourself, there are plenty on here that would call smug out when needed and i have seen them do just that.

i was going to post more but it seems pointless when you have decided as you have, just remember that no one, as yet, has dis-agreed with your point about men needing to behave better and control themselves but also remember we are not talking about every man and you also need to realise that there are many others that can help to change attitudes as well.

We are talking about a bloke drugging and raping a woman. I'd say that's a little bit more than putting a foot wrong, you sicko.

If I'm a big part of the problem for daring to suggest that no man has the right to assault a woman against her will, then so be it. I'd say you a bigger part of the problem by refusing to acknowledge that men are 100% in the wrong when it comes to drugging women. Regardless how a woman behaves, no man has the right to take advantage of her.

'Hey women can you stop acting like you're 'asking for it' so these men know that it's not alright to drug and rape you'. Just **** off, mate.

Go and see if Smug has any room for you in that cave of his. Try and make sure it's as far away as possible from civilisation, please.

I've done some editing, Saff, to ease tension. Please don't inflame a delicate situation more than it already has been.

I'm not inflaming anything. You should hand out that advice to your pal, tbh.

It's ridiculous how one-sided you are with your modding. We both know, that you know Smug deliberately sets out to antagonise and wind people up. You just sit back and let it happen. Then when somebody explodes you take action against them. Every single time and it's beyond a joke, now.

His views on this are disgusting. What actions or editing have you taken on that?

    NONE.

I agree with you far more than I agree with what he's said about this, but he's given his opinion, which he's entitled to, without being abusive about anybody elses, which is why I've edited some of your inflammatory comments on this occasion.

Sorry if you don't agree with me, but I'm trying to keep things calm.

No need, he's a big boy. I'm sure he can handle it.

It wouldn't get to this if he didn't set out to wind people up. The amount of people that have stopped posting on this forum, I feel justifies that.

I noticed he's making light jokes about drugging and raping on Tees thread about away days now <doh>

Seems you're wrong yet again, not everyone is here just for a pointless argument <laugh>

And, honestly, claiming lads one here agree with you but daren't say so. Good grief, how disrespectful to people.

You're absolutely obsessed with Mods, forums and bans, unfortunately the internet is infected with sad little people like you.

'Get some sleep' from a weirdo who's still banging away, on multiple forums, at all hours and pleading with the Mods for help ...

... people sometimes shoot themselves in the foot, not many are thick enough to reload and shoot the other one <laugh>

When that's your whole life you'd think you'd make it less obvious wouldn't you?

He just blunders in spouting ridiculous drivel like all these internet addicts do.

All they crave is a reaction and don't care what they have to say to get one.

The routine is always identical ...

... post idiotic and contrary shyte, get a reasonable response then pour out all the inevitable insults, go crying to the Mods and claiming they're a victim.

If he really wants to be a victim, so desperately, I'd be happy to oblige <laugh>

It's totally disrespectful to accuse this board of being full of cowards mate.

I dare say we've disagreed in the past, which is a reasonable and normal thing to do, but we don't have instantly go to extremes like these internet creeps.

Normal people can argue about football, and all manner of these, while remaining polite and calm ...

... and then there are clowns like this.

At the end of the day anyone drugging/raping or sexually abusing someone else regardless of gender is bang out of order.

That being said there are times when what is claimed by the victims needs to be seriously considered as occassionaly some lasses suffer form, how should i put it... Buyers remorse.

Lass goes out, gets caught messing around and claims she was drugged/taken advantage of. This exact scenario happened to my youngest son 3 years ago and because the girl was one of the "popular crowd" he was ostracised by his so called friends for about 6 months until another girl who was present had the courage to speak up and tell the truth.

In my opinion rapists deserve castration and a ****ing great tattoo on their foreheads but at the same time the punishment for girls who make **** up needs to be severe too. It's the only way that this sort of behaviour from both sides will decrease.

Ever noticed how in a rape case the suspect is named (if male) yet the victim never is (which i understand) however if the accusation is proven to be false the alleged victim still maintains their anonimity whilst the innocent accused has had his/her life ruined.

Apologies for the rant but this exact situation nearly resulted in my son committing suicide and i'm still paying for counselling for him 3 years later)

That's terrible mate but. sadly, it's so easy to point the finger.

Everyone in these situations needs to be responsible and honest.

Young girls are going through significant changes and their moods are often volatile. It's physical, mental and hormonal and generally out of their control. Sadly modern life means they're put into difficult and complicated situations with large circles of friends which can lead to all kinds of jealousies and relationship issues. I really feel sorry for your son, it's easy to be tarred with that brush and takes a long time to get clean.

100% agree. Stats say that only 5% of allegations are false but these 5% can cause a hell of a lot of damage.

The penalties for rape should be extremely severe but the penalties for false allegations should be equally severe

Good heavens you are the 2nd poster in a few days to talk sense. What is happening on this forum!

No matter how a woman dresses or how drunk she is, 'she is not asking for it' ever.

Any woman who makes false rape allegations is really making it more difficult for the genuine victims of rape to get justice, and should as you say be sentenced appropriately.

    That's 100% right mate.

What does cloud the issue are cases like Ched Evans who was jailed, for 5 years, on the word of a woman who woke up naked in his hotel room after a night on the drink. She had zero recollection of what had happened and only went to the police after being egged on by her friends. After Evans was jailed, lost his job and was vilified it emerged that the woman had previous 'form', and had also repeated the same routine a fortnight later with another stranger, and he was subsequently acquitted and released. It was only after an expensive campaign that new evidence came forward, without that money he'd have come out of jail as a convicted rapist and never worked again.

At the original trial, "The prosecution said she could not possibly have consented, as she was too intoxicated."

I agree that 'a woman isn't asking for it' but she could sometimes say 'no' a little more clearly.
