Not sure sturridge would play as a central striker but can see him getting in the squad! Cant believe people would leave cole out! yeh he is probably the biggest d**k in football but he is argubly the best left back in the world!

The same players that always get picked will be picked. We'll be about as dynamic as eleven men with their feet caked in clay whilst simultaneously having the fear.

Doesn't matter who get's picked - if Crapello is the manager, they'll never win anything

I don't think the current England bunch would win anything even if the manager was Mourinho, SAF or anyone. Not that Capello is doing a great job but the odds are his successor will not be doing much better, and he is doing a hell of a lot better than his predecessor. Especially since The FA have wisely ruled out a non-English manager so the options aren't exactly fantastic, guys like Redknapp or Pearce or Hodgson aren't going to bring the trophy back

Mourinho will be in next no doubt. He'll make England even more boring than they are now. He'll probably try all he can to get his favourite brown nose buddy, Ricardo Carvalho eligible for selection aswell.

Mind you, at least he'll tell the English press where to shove it and he can actually speak English properly - makes such a difference when you are coaching the English national team - just ask Crapello!

Like the England manager, you are all doing the best you can, but none of these teams excite me. We're in the doldrums..hope we will be better in 4-8 years time.

I advocate that we should go for youth...why not give the yougsters a chance to gel as a team for the future, rather than always going with the old guard and going out at the first knock-out game. We are not good enough to win the Cup, so why not build for WC 2014 or EC 2016.

And to my own personal axe to grind. Why have we never given the u21s the best players for tournaments? It's a disgrace that we haven't done better in u21 cups. How much better would the England team be if they had played through the age groups together. I know some fall by the wayside, but the core would be used to each others game.

I said the same , but it's the clubs they're to powerful.
They kick up a fuss and stamp their feet like little kids and always get their way.
I's sad as **** but unfornatly they will always win.

If Gareth Barry is in the team I will chase down Capello and his cohorts and kill them.

Until Wilshere returns, Barry will still be in the team. So get running.
