i see some of the newcastle players were keen to see bruce depart and some had unkind nicknames for him. don't see why they're so pleased - 99.9% of them will be following him out of the door before they can say "jackie milburn".
Most of them don't know who Jackie Milburn was. They know the stats, and the statue outside St James's, but all were born after he died, and most would rather play Fifa than find out about their 'wor Jackie.
