BBC says “Scotland must win to guarantee progress” which implies that they don’t have to win. Can’t see how losing can see them end up improving on their net run rate and overtaking Oman’s? Maybe one day I’ll bother to read how it’s calculated.

 

If Bangladesh had won by fewer than 3 runs then Scotland could still have qualified even if they lost.
