It's a bit of a Catch-22 ... we are now attracting terrific young players like Daka and Soumare due to the combination of the success that we have had since we first disrupted the party, the facilities the obvious drive and ambition at the club - the ethos of developing young talent AND the money we are prepared to bring players in for and pay them ... we are also a career stepping stone to moving on to clubs like Chelsea, Citeh and United A comment often made is that being in the Europey ****s up your season domestically... it certainly increases fatigue and the prospect of injuries ... but on the plus side your 'profile' in terms of attracting talent goes up markedly IMHO ... we are now a name that young players and their agents are very much familiar with. Now the only real problem is how long it takes to build all that . .
Great I know I take the piss but personally the more clubs competing the better West ham, Leeds even clubs like forest and Sheff Wednesday could get takeovers they have good support.. I think even the fans of the so called big 6 would welcome more contenders, but there's people running those clubs determined to shut the door on the other great clubs in this country
Fred aint great, and United paid WAY over the odds, but who the **** have Shakhtar Donetsk had that has been better than him? Better players in their youth team? Then why did Fred make 26 league appearances for them in his final season if they had youth players who were better? Don't get me wrong, I dont rate Fred, at all, but you dont put a guy out on the field 26 times in a season if you have better players in your youth team. Oh its BS, never mind....https://www.balls.ie/football/eamon-dunphy-fake-news-fred-400494
HAHAH Sorry man, I found it funny, but then I thought, "Wow, a top class European coach talking that way against a former player? Surely not!" Which lead me to believe that either Fonseca is a bitter little prat, or that it was BS, and I had to find out which Dont worry though, many journos were taking in by it too by the sound of things.
... whose interception and lay off to Tielemans in the cup final brought back that trophy for the first time in our history ... who scored a hat-trick in the biggest ever Premier League away win ... who scored our first goal in the Europey against Napoli this season ... who undid Manchester United with the run and lay off to Jamie Vardy to put us back in front in the win on Saturday ... Yeah right waste of money that ... Levels ... you really aren't very good at this stuff, are you?
I don't care we defeated your team twice and you ran away hiding as I recall You got upset with me giving you a taste of your own medicine. We're cool now it's always good natured fun at my end.
