Looks like we are finally clicking as a team after a dismal pre-season, Patterson is a handful around the opposition box, and Piroe is settling into the Championship really well, that was a big scalp, and well deserved from the second-half performance, very, very pleased for the players........
The 4 yellow cards say a lot, they weren't going to mess about at the back! The high line their back 3 played was always going to give us a chance when we played the ball in behind them and so it proved. I thought their manager was really good last season but he may be a one trick pony as he seemingly made no attempt to change things once Martin worked out how to play against them.
So according to our little sad cousins up the road we are a bad side that beat a bad side in the weekend. Tonight shows apart from the first minute we are not a bad side.
