We seem to have got the Pompey farce out of our system over the last couple of games. 25% of the season gone and things are looking canny but we mustn't slacken off. LJ needs to hammer into the Lads that we need to win as many games as possible, a draw is only acceptable if we're behind in the final few minutes. It's great to gann to bed happy with the result, I'll awake in the morning on a high cos we've won in the 3rd division FFS. So I'll say goodnight to you all and hope you sleep well and see you all on Satda. Great thread RTB as usual, keep up the good work.
7 away wins out of 10 won all 6 home games this could be 1998-99 all over again. 11/12/21 Plymouth at home
I think the only thing that will stop us getting promoted is injuries which once again we've been riddled with.
5th v 6th and 7th v 8th on Saturday! We’ve got a real chance to consolidate our place in the top 6 this weekend then it’s all about top 2.
Never looked in doubt really that one, once Crewe had their ten minutes it's spell in the first half. Crewe have a go at playing football mind, but that suited us, and it could have been more. Let's hope we can do the same on Saturday, as they'll come to play as well.
you lads have said it all i think... decent performance but i still feel it could have been better, we looked a tad 'disjointed' at times yet other times passed it like there was no opposition on the park. really do not want to pick anyone out but AoB again got through a lot of work, pritchard is starting to show some class, dan neil keeps improving, winchester proves his worth every week now, feck it, every single one of them played their part and the hoff shows again why he is current number one. with thanks to crewe i might add, nice to see a team that actually tries to play football and with a bit more edge in and around the box they could cause a few problems to teams but happily, not tonight.
McGeady, Dajaku and Hume back tonight and Wearne close to a game. Most teams will suffer injuries but few have our depth. I'm not concerned tbh, top two and were playing well. Anyway, time to finish my pint and start driving, cheers lads.
the hoff deservedly getting most of the comments but i think this lad is going to be very important for us over the years, both have a great attitude and love being in front of the fans.
I think he will have a big imapct on the season. Might be a month or so before he properly settles but he is a talented lad, very direct and will worry defenders at this level.
Massive fam of Dajuku and the way he’s dived into the club and the culture. Was a funny video of him having the Hoff’s life in the car the other day looks like they bother enjoying it and helping each other settle. They look like they have far too much ability for this league. Let’s be honest, the recruitment this summer looks superb doesn’t it?
