Yes, that's the point. Your personal anecdote makes you an exception to the rule but the fact remains that wage growth compared to living costs in the UK is the second-worst in Europe.
I think the fact they are advertising for this role indicates there is no buyer in for the club. So the no new owners thread will go past 2000 pages. No one is going to buy a club for the sort of money the Allams expect with this league position and with this squad.
Come on, what senior person is going to accept a full time position on that wage??? It's a joke It's like when Papa Allam first interviewed Steve Bruce & offered him a laughable salary & Bruce told him he'd missed a zero off The Allams really are clueless

How do you know it's not the Turks who have suggested this role. He's supposed to be a football man isn't he?
That would be like when the Chinese buyers were going to be buying players before they bought the club.
Why bother wasting £26K on an analyst if the manager refuses to vary his tactics to counter the opposition.
Why is it so implausible that a business can be recruiting whilst a change of ownership is ongoing? Do we expect everything to just grind to a halt for a few months?
Or a malevolent old man in a mustard coloured shirt is deliberately instructing his manager to play 433 to spite resentful fans who don't like it....
Not suggesting for a minute that everything will grind to a halt, however if things are as close to completion as some think it would be perfectly normal to put things like staff changes (in or out) and buying things on hold.
Yes it is. The Allams have regular meetings on how they can alienate fans, piss them off, inconvenience them, frustrate them and generally **** up the the relationship between the club and the fans. They devote many hours to it each week. They are clueless and thick also.
