Even ignoring time injured, he's on target to score 8 goals

 

Thats the probs Forza. Last season we knocked the crap out of Wolves and lost to a late goal. We smashed WHU and lost late on, we smashed Leicester and lost late on. We even beat Leicester in one game. We took a point off City, we chased Liverpool in the first game and then drew in the next game. We never gave up and we outplayed almost everyone until we fell down in front of goal.. Saturday we were garbage everywhere except maybe Meslier if you ignore his distribution. Worrying

 

I'm sure a few of Roberts shots landed in Bamfords back garden.

This narrative that we've been garbage all season though is wrong.

Against Everton, West Ham & Watford at home in all those we were pretty good. Liverpool were too good for us and there is no shame in that, although Rodrigo had a great chance to put us one up and the red card was certainly debatable.

It's away from home where the problems are, but even then we were half decent at Newcastle, Burnley kicked us off the pitch and we should have been playing with an extra man for most of the match. That leaves away at Old Toilet where they had one of their best performances in years and the one truly dreadful performance which was at Southampton.

Conclusion ?

Some fans have raised their expectations and have forgotten that we still have a lot of ground to make up on established PL teams.

 

I didn’t say we’ve been garbage all season. I basically said we’ve lost our mojo and never say die attitude. The swagger has gone from our play.

Don't remember much swagger against Everton & West Ham at home last season.

We've actually performed better in both those fixtures this term.

How about against Crystal Palace (a) when were poor and Tottenham (a) for that matter ? Brighton outplayed us home and away as well. Maybe a bit more analysis and bit less rose tinted spectacles are required as to how we actually performed at times last season.

We have a tendancy to blow hot & cold and this season is no different.
