Thanks again RTB., pleased the team gave you and all our other fantastic supporters an enjoyable day out. This is another game that wont be easy and Mandron always ups his game against us, so I half expect McFuz to do the same, so another nail biting 0-1 will do. but it would be nice to be able to enjoy the last few minutes now and again. OaU.

 

On paper we should win this comfortably
But its another potential banana skin. We've got a bit of a depleted squad and Crew will be up for it as most teams are against us.
Saying that I'm confident we will have enough. Just need to keep picking up wins best we can at the moment

I agree this is a game we should win, but they seem to get points of the better teams just now, beat Wigan and draws against both Plymouth and Rotherham. So we need to be turn up, this won’t be Cheltenham.

 

Difficult game, obviously hoping for a win

 

Spot on mate. We need to treat every match as a difficult match,which I'm sure is being drilled into the lads.We are not the finished article in this league yet,and every time we turn out we've got to be on it 100%,or we'll come unstuck. Some of our fans think Crewe are ****e,but they play some decent football and have got some decent results against other top teams....I'm taking nothing for granted here. We have some injuries and Embo suspension and the disruption that comes with that to sort out and,whilst I'm happy with the squad depth we have, every player needs to be at the top of his game.

This is what amazes me with some of our fans.
Not having a go LBW but every match thread this season we have a few who think we'll win 3, 4, 5 nowt and to date we've only put Cheltenham to the sword.
We have an understrength squad at the moment and had a real hard game three days ago part of it with 10 men, LJ doesn't have the luxury to rest three or four so we go again with limited resources and however poor Crewe have been this season they are fighting for their lives and every team in the league raises their game against us.
Not saying a 4-0 win is beyond us but think this game will be as hard as any other and I would take a lucky 1-0 right now.
Sorry for the reality check lads.

 

rain forecast in Crewe for tomorrow night !. This is the game we have to start fast in, get at them from the off i have a 1-3 bet on as well. We can watch it for £10 as well. They say you can go to their(Crewe) ticket office before the match and buy a ticket .

 

I called us to beat Cheltenham 3 or 4 nowt as well if I remember correctly. Crewe are ****e and we have more than enough to bury them. It’s my prediction like it or lump it

Cracking thread as always RTB. Won’t be easy it never is but if we are serious promotion contenders which I believe we are we need to win games like this . Some big games in the league tomorrow time to take advantage of this. I think it will be close but I’m going for a 2-1 win again.

I expect 0-4 as an absolute minimum. We are SAFC and without being derogatory to Crewe we are better than them in every department. Even allowing for injuries. Go there with the right attitude and an easy win is there for the taking imo.

I firmly believe that once we click we will start winning games comfortably, we will have blips along the way like Portsmouth but we have the best attacking ability in the league and sooner than later we will start pressing home that advantage.
