Motorsport isn't too big in India but there is growing interest with Force India and drivers like Chandhok and Karthikeyan. anyone expect lotus to have made some large improvements for this race as i think chandhok is racing?
think its for trulli. but i might be mistaken and he might not be racing at all. i know karthikeyan is for hrt
I'm pretty sure your right and Chandhok is replacing Trulli for the weekend. I doubt he'll do anything special, but so far this season Trulli has hardly had any drives to shout about. Wooo 2,000 posts
According to Autosport, Chandhok is expecting to race (presumably over Trulli) but ultimately it depends what management say. OT: For me this race is between Button and Webber. Leaning towards the latter, Button seemed poor last week, might be a Tilke-drome thing.
I'm expecting another Vettel win, with a race much like Korea behind him. 1. Vettel 2. Hamilton 3. Button etc. all quite bunched up.
I'm not sure about what sort of driver would benefit from this circuit. The only thing I'm confident about is Webber struggling - because you need to attack this circuit to get a good lap time and Mark rarely looks confident when driving and doesn't attack the track like Vettel does.
Every one is on a level playing field here (well a tad bit anyway). I can't wait for the rush in Practice 1 hahaha.

If Chandhok does race, it will be instead of Trulli, not Kovalainen. Fernandes said in an interview over the summer that they believe Heikki is their number 1 driver (if a team that far back can have a number 1!), and so it would be Trulli's seat up for grabs. Although that picture from Forza indicates Chandhok might be struggling for a drive, or that Kovalainen is missing out and Fernandes is a liar.
