Sky sports turned the mics down, it was far louder than that, when it shows the players celebrating in the corner after the goal it sounds almost silent.

We need another striker added to that list in my opinion. Wilson is good but when he's injured or just not on it there is no back up plan.

    The usual culprits to blame.

    Bruce obviously.
    Lascelles positional sense was pish.
    Hayden had a shocker.
Shelvey is just an idiot. Can’t blame Bruce for that.
    Longstaff was crap again aswell.

But for me Ritchie defensively is terrible. We just have to give Lewis another chance.

ritchie isn’t a defender though. Of course he’s terrible.

bruce plays him and others out of position.

It's actually just incredible that a man in charge can't see how useless certain players are.

Steve Bruce really is an absolute moron isn't he?

My mate watched it, he just texted me to say he "had no idea where we're coming from". There was zero plan. Look back at it and tell me what we're trying to do? Stupid passing at the back between players who can't do it, long balls occasionally towards Wilson and, latterly, Max. Nobody holding or tracking Ndombele, in the entire match. No idea what the roles of Ritchie or Manq were, apart from possibly a 90's style "overload". I couldn't quite work out who was supposed to be playing where, Willock was anonymous but what was his role?

It's such a mess. A manager, almost any manager, will improve that. If you line up with Dubs, Manq, Schar, Fede, Lewis, Longstaff and Willock in CM with a front three of Max, Almiron and Murphy behind Wilson, you have to pick up points. Spurs are better, but we should've been able to get a draw.

Palace win that game easily imo then Chelsea roast us.

What I saw last night was a side that's going down. It's simple

They'll be cut a drift come Jan and nobody will want to sign.

I can only assume that Longstaff and Willock have no interest in being part of the bright new beginnings. That can be the only reason not to try on a day like yesterday. Longstaff was awful, but Willock was in a league of ****ness to himself. Not sure what's happened there but unless he's injured that's completely unacceptable effort levels. Even when he got the ball, like Longstaff he couldn't get it out of his feet. Between them they couldn't pass water.

Shelvey is just a knob end. There was still something in that game for us and his petulant kicks were just stupid. Goodbye and good riddance. Hayden is not a PL footballer in midfield. Said it a million times, simply not good enough with the ball. Our midfield yesterday were an embarrassment. Hayden tried 100% again, but sadly its just not enough.

Bruce is mad as a ****ing *****ose. He still picks Lascelles and Clark. Fernandez and Schar must have spit roasted his missus or something. Clark has been horrific this season, only been one worse. Step forward old cardboard hips Lascelles. Does he really think that's an acceptable attempt at blocking Ndombele? Looked even worse when I saw it last night than it did live. Pathetic. Manquillo had a shocker too. Darlow is **** and was ****. On the Kane goal, how does he think that's a good position all things considered? The ball is bouncing high, defenders are closing, I know what's a great idea I'll take the hassle of getting that down out of the equation for Kane. ****ing idiot.

Big Joe did well again for me. Got stuck in. Mariner treat him like ****. He ran himself into the ground for the team. ASM needs to stop the prima donna ****. Chucking his arms up, get after the ****ing ball, get it back. Wilson as ever gave nothing less than 7 out of 10 at any point.

Bah we are bad mind. The fans were good in spells. It won't happen overnight. But I do think some of our fans don't have the same mentality we used to. Its understandable because they've been given **** all. However there was a big lull after the goal, and when they scored we went quiet again. Then 2nd half we drifted a bit. The fans going back 20-25 yrs screamed louder for more after a goal, screamed louder again if someone dared score, and when the game drifted a massive roar would go up to force life into it. We need to get back to those attitudes as supporters. Spine tingling stuff pre game though. Great seeing some faces come back who haven't been for 10 years too. They said they'd come back when he was gone and they did.

Get Bruce out now and lets get going.

No guarantee on that. I wouldn't have much faith in Darlow generally but he is decent one on one and shotstopping. Defender was closing too. Still a good chance he'd score, but certainly not a reason to take us down to 10 men. Typical Shelvey though.

I felt he had to or it was 4-1 game over

They didn't score and we were still in the game..

The issue was the breakdown in play at the other end..
