Used to drive through there every day to work for a couple of years (going from Leicester to Grantham). Got a speeding ticket whilst being overtaken by a lorry from the camera on the main road. Fun times. EDIT: I recall back in 2007 the Baptist church I drove past on the way into the town had had it's letters changed by someone and sadly read "Rap!st church". It was like that for like a week, I was amazed it wasn't urgently corrected!
I was there about 2 years ago and they still had a Kwik save. I'm sure Kwik save stopped everywhere else in the 90s
It was ages ago and the kids were necking cowies... Nintendos as I recall.. Just a very depressing place full of scroats
Call it the changed your mind 15 times a day thread for two years on all aspects. then we are about right.
Smoggy he's got to tell himself that. Not yet but in the future if nufc get up there it'll start happening
I'm not sure why Kane is listed alongside names like Mbappe. He's good but definitely not world class. Yeah, I think Woodgate is right. It's the point I was making yesterday that if players like Mbappe and Haaland become available then Chelsea and City could afford to match any bid that Newcastle makes and obviously these kind of players wouldn't give Newcastle a second glance in that scenario.
That must be the 'slaggy' you are talking about with your dogs. I know it well. I've moved to a little village in Durham, mate. I still always tell people I'm a Jarra lad, like. Always will do.
Aye that's it, either park at the stadium if I'm being a lazy kernt or just walk over. Would live in the village if I could like but houses hardly ever come up!
Of course he is. From what I've read he's taking about how it is at the current time, there is no way players are picking us ahead of the top 6 or Everton, Leicester. It's going to take time. There's a minority of our fans who genuinely think we're signing superstars immediately but that's a bit thick - the newspapers know what they're doing. A million links to every player and then when we spend 60-80 million in January signing 4 decent premiership players to shore up the squad they'll camp themselves outside our stadium and interview everyone until they can find someone crying about Mbappe. Easy news stories. Can't fail.
