Given that Pfizer’s total profit for 2021 is forecast to be about $33.5bn, the claim of “$40bn profit on 6 months” is deranged conspiracy theorist fantasy put out on social media for the gullible who do not check for facts. Pfizer’s second quarter sales of the vaccine were $7.8bn. Perhaps this is a different Pfizer to the one that provided 500 million doses at a not-for-profit price to COVAX.
