I know this is a common question but, can you watch this game on a VPN and if so, which streaming service is the most reliable?

Who was the Irish horse racing commentator who did the national, back in the day?
'We now go to Paddy (someone) at the Melling Road.'
'It's Red Alligator, from Crisp and Lescargo as they take the canal turn.'
    Highlight of the day.

Didn't Danny (chance) Blanchflower do some commentating for YTV. He was awful.

Could be Danny Blanchflower who did a spell of commentary around that time
David Lill didn't play much for the 1st team but I remember him as I used to watch the reserves on my season ticket when City were away

McLoughlin was fine against Boro and should be starting in a back three today, we looked far better playing 3-5-2 and switching back would be really daft.

    So we almost certainly will.

Nor me! I had to play that back a few times and still have no idea who he was. The scary thing is I probably went to that game. It's so enjoyable growing old.

I thought I knew most city larkers from that era. But David Lill must have slipped under the radar.

I seem to be in a small minority in thinking he didn't play well, so fair enough, maybe some of the better stuff he did passed me by. But he was definitely as bad as ever with the fouls. He several times just bundled into a defender who'd already passed the ball, and as I mentioned previously, two of them were just as we'd intercepted the pass so it cost us possession.

Not a minority of one though. I love Tom Eaves, I love his effort and his attitude, but he's nowhere near good enough at this level (or, based on last season, at L1 level either). How many times last week did he succesfully get hold of the ball and successfully get it to a teammate? You wouldn't need both hands for counting. Better two pacy forwards if it's a 3-5-2, KLP and Smith or Wilks. Mind you, I still think Longman might be worth trying, so what do I know.

I think Eaves' fouls worked in our favour against Boro because they're such a physical team. Having a big, clumsy centre-forward letting them know he was there worked. Fry and Bamba are big, physical centre-halves so having a big centre-forward match up to them was a plus and I thought it worked well. It might not work against Huddersfield though.

No happy memories of Huddersfield away. Time we changed that. A surprisingly pleasant entertaining draw with kudos.

Never been a happy hunting ground for me. Live in hope that it changes today but scarred by previous disasters there I'm going 0-3. On me Todd for this one as well, my usual away day companion has got covid

My away days at the new ground have all been depressingly similar and the last game I really enjoyed there was at the old Leeds Road ground - great atmosphere and a belting goal from (?) Dewhirst to seal a 2-0 win if memory serves me.
