I'm really not bothered. It was just an observation to the comment about what the right wing MIGHT do when left wing politicians are using the kind of language I mentioned and the right wing politicians being assaulted and murdered.
You certainly haven't heard anything about traitors betraying the country from the right wing, of course...
Why do you go trawling twitter looking for hate? If you look for something, you will always find it, you know that about social media, by retweeting, liking it, quoting it, reposting it, you are just spreading the hate even further, don't you see that. Because Saff had a view, you had to go and search for a hate speech and post it on here, to score points it appears to me.
If it was an observation on my comment I would point out that I didn't say "right wing"... I said "extreme right". Ain't bring picky but the Tory party are considered as being on the right wing...as are other parties. I said the extreme right because I was on about those like the EDL, BNP and non aligned fascist/ fascist supporters/ extreme racists using this to spread racist hatred etc. If it weren't my post ... just ignore my pointless diversion
And Saff wasn't scoring points whilst practically admitting to it? I don't like saying it but sometimes you can't even spot your double standards mate. As for trawling, I did no such thing, it's on the GC board. It's being spread on here all too well without me
So you thought you would bring it from GC to here, I suggest you leave it there in future or move to there, your choice.
Oh well a non-entity has tweeted something on twitter. That is the same as popular MP's stirring up hate so we should expect left wing politicians to be assaulted and stabbed to death any day now. It's quite sad seeing this defensive reaction and comments so soon after a guy has just been bludgeoned to death to seemingly just divert attention from 'their side' I'm off to watch the second half. First half was terrible.
Nope I thought I'd just show that the idea the extreme right "might" say this is utter bollox. I've not said or done anything that Saff hasn't so you can be even handed or not, you choice.
I've asked several times for it to be left alone, now you want to be rude, so I will remove you from this thread for 7 days.
I didn't want to have to get involved but i don't think anything said here was hostile or out of line from both sides. Not even sure why i'm here as i'm pretty knackered working two jobs at the moment (hopefully my first job will be done soon). not sure a thread ban was warranted really as the language wasn't really aggressive or threatening although i can concede that barbs did say to leave the particular subject alone.
You are right Bobby, nothing aggressive or threatening was said, but I can see where this thread is going, and I'm trying to stop it from doing so tbh. Just to lift a right wing tweet from GC and post it on here, proves my quiet theory. When Jo Cox was brutally murdered, it went the right wing route on here at the time, rightly so with hindsight. Another MP has been brutally murdered again today, and straight away, the 'extreme right' conversation creeps in again. For these killings to stop, I believe we all need to stop being devisive and looking for blame each time, and to do that the point scoring has to be nulled before it's even started. If people choose otherwise, I'm sure GC will welcome the activity. Once we officially know more from the real authorities that matter, the debate can expand.
So facts update, the person arrested is a British Citizen with Somali heritage. As he's being held under anti terrorism the police can hold him for 14 days for questioning, rather than the normal 4 days they would have, under a straight forward murder charge. Just to reiterate, it still don't mean the murder was terror related as it's still under investigation, it just means at the moment they get a vastly longer length of time to question him and to look into his background.
