That's terrible and brings memories of the tragic death of Jo Cox flooding back. I hope Mr Amess pulls through and a change in the law introduced for dealing with unprovoked attackers like this, Jo Cox and Lee Rigby. All attacked while doing their jobs No reason why the tax payer should foot the bill to keep **** like this, who are intent on taking peoples lives. We've got plenty of people who are used to administering jabs now. Give the bastard a lethal one!
I trust Raynor will consider the implications of her hate filled rant at conservative supporters with some regret. We may disagree, but we must respect ... this is what happens when we don't.
Crazy relating the two totally different things. It was a nutter that killed Cox and it is a nutter that’s killed this MP.
I really hope that this is not politically motivated but its hard to see what else it might have been. It comes not long after Iain Duncan Smith was assaulted and called 'Tory scum'. As you say, I hope Raynor, and Pidcock, with her 'I could never be friends with a Tory' comments, will realise how pathetic that stance is and realise the harm they are doing to politics in this country with their infantile attitude. If this is politically motivated, this is the perfect example of why tribalism in politics is wrong. I live close to David Amess's Southend constituency. From what I understand, he was very well thought of locally.
Going to have to put measures in place to ensure these absolute lunatics never get close to MPs in future. No one should be at any risk, let alone the risk of serious harm or murder, whilst doing their job.
Awful.... nobody as yet saying the, who what and why about the murderer. The tradition of MPs holding constituency surgeries is a very good one... anybody with a problem can go and ask for help... Security has to be stepped up?
no really remember it was a white supremacist that murdered last MP to get attacked Jo Cox time will tell
Knock me down with a feather. But it will have nothing whatsoever to do with the "religion of peace". It never does.
Didn't someone on here post a journo had interviewed boat refugees and they asked if they could have directions to the free bank that dispensers free cash?
Happened less than a mile from where I live. Not a tory fan at all, but apparently he did a lot for the community. Not sure why anyone would now use this to castigate Muslims though; all races and religions have a load of absolute nutcases. As someone said earlier, the murderer of Jo Cox was far right.
