Crunch time next few weeks with 5 games against main rivals and contenders, with a few grudges in the mix to add spice. And only one home match. We will see how far we have come. If we have Celina back and PC goes with the same squad more or less, and we notch 2 wins, 2 draws and just 1 loss, we could be mid-table, top 10 or 12. 3 wins, 2 draws and still 1 loss, and we could be in the top 6 by November. Any brave forecasts? The tough Cambridge game will be a good start. Get a win under our belt and we could be in for a nice ride. Equally, this is Ipswich of course! A bad defeat and we are staring at massive loss of confidence and a poor run of games which will put us all back in the pot of misery. I will go with a scrappy 2-1 win against the Yellows.
No it hasnt Spanish, cheeky chap! Cambridge Utd wear Yellow shirts and I am sure they are nicknamed the Yellows, so up yours!
Apologies accepted! And no, contrary to legendary Ipswich Supporters Club archivist El Espagnol, the Old Gaffer wasnt warming his arse on cold benches at Portman Road in 1902 whenever! However, I admit I am surprised a Cambridge team doesnt wear Light Blue for obvious reasons. Perhaps their reserves do, I dunno.
Just filed a report to my legal team called Swindell & Swindell of Norwich, they existed years ago!! Based on grounds of Insolence, Ignorance, Disrespect and OldAgeism!
Back to my very reasonable thread, does anyone out of their nappies have a view on the importance of the next 5 games?
