Have you read the right thread ? One thinks they'll lose 0-2, another 0-3, a 0-5 and one thinks they will get battered. I'm with you on predictions though Scenes against Shrewsbury.
Going along with a few others here and predicting a 1-3 result. Geads to get a penna another goal from Winny and the smiling assassin O9. Cheers RTB. Another fab OP.
Yeah I might have skipped the first few. There’s about 50/50 results wise. Some think they’ll get hammered, some think they’ll win relatively comfortably!
Cracking thread as always RTB. You know it’s nearly match time when this thread comes along. Difficult game but we have something to prove after Pompey so I’m going for an away win. Enjoy the day out boys and girls.
Great thread look fwd to it every week I’m going for a clean sheet for the lads and 3 sharpens at the other end come on
I'm sure he thinks he's a great character and secretly admired by opposition supporters ... .... well, not by me or anyone I know. I doubt I'd care if he had a heart attack and died tbh.
Just goole mapped where Gillingham is... its fcuking miles away...other side of east London. It will take ages driving there... well done those going... you deserve to see a win!
With the possibility of McGeady, Gooch, Broadhead, Evans and Dajaku all being missing, I nearly plumped for a draw. However, this is not the uncreative, predictable Sunderland of old and we will be hurting from the Pompey game, so I think we'll battle and win 2-1, sending our 1,000's of wonderful fans home happy.
After the great displays by our youngsters against Lincoln and MU's under-21's, and after the paddling-pool at Portsmouth, I'm more worried about the weather forecast than I am about the team-sheet and injuries
Good point mate, a lesson was learned at Portsmouth ... ... don't try to play silky football against lumpy teams on rubbish pitches. We have the skill to win games like this but the football needs to be played in their half, not ours.
Love that. Just talking to the lads and trying to have a drink in Rochester then Gillingham. Rochester is with Tom Lynn and Gillingham is with my Ticketmaster Really up for this, coach leaves Cheltenham at 7.15 so an early night tonight.
