I seem to recall Leicester were pretty much hijacking every move we made. A bit like Spurs did a few seasons ago, didn't bother scouting just hijacked everyone else's moves.
Pep won't come here. He likes top 2 clubs. He said he wants to take a break after his contract runs out and wants to manage an international team. With the way Barca are at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if they try and get him back though.
That's interesting. I wouldn't have thought they would go for someone like Rodgers. I was thinking Ten Hag or someone like that.
Rodgers to Citeh? Wow, the speed at which they’ve accepted their fate as inferior to us is impressive. Humble, even. Still looks like nobody has a ****ing clue what’s going to happen. Certainly nothing rapid. Sensible move is to get a DoF and Exec in first, get McParland and Brown properly involved then start making the big decisions. I think when they pull the trigger, it’ll be a hugely impressive appointment.
Just thinking whether Bruce will stay until they've actually got a replacement.. Just a thought but perhaps being ruthless won't look good while asking top managers to drop down and take a chance.
