Oh quick thought - didn’t either brown or mcparland bring Rodgers to Liverpool?? Someone check it out for me.
Bruce is undeniably ****e, but so is Lampard. There's a reason why clubs won't touch him with a bargepole. Rodgers is better, but I feel he would be a better manager for when we want to push on to get the club in to Europe. Not a club which could be relegated.
I'd be happy with that for sure he's demonstrated at 3 clubs that he can coach in a style of play.. No fluke.. A safe bet and has experience in this league He's literally the perfect candidate imo
Agreed. I think he'd do well with a bit of cash behind him. Definitely a step up. I think he'd be better than anyone else we could get. Leicester are falling below their usual champ league spots.
I wouldn't have Lampard, he's not good enough for a championship team, let alone a Premier league club in a relegation battle. I would take Rodgers in the summer, once our premier league status is settled. Right now, we need a manager to get us out of this slump.
Wait for Rodgers himself to say it on TV. He's done this at Swansea and Celtic. He said at Celtic that he "loves" the club and could would not leave. He was gone a few days later.
