Oh quick thought - didn’t either brown or mcparland bring Rodgers to Liverpool??

Bruce is undeniably ****e, but so is Lampard. There's a reason why clubs won't touch him with a bargepole.

Rodgers is better, but I feel he would be a better manager for when we want to push on to get the club in to Europe. Not a club which could be relegated.

 

So you'd have both at this time I assume?

I'd be happy with that for sure he's demonstrated at 3 clubs that he can coach in a style of play.. No fluke.. A safe bet and has experience in this league

Agreed. I think he'd do well with a bit of cash behind him. Definitely a step up. I think he'd be better than anyone else we could get.

McParland was the academy manager until 2013.

Owen Brown was essentially Rafas personal advisor.

 

I wouldn't have Lampard, he's not good enough for a championship team, let alone a Premier league club in a relegation battle.

I would take Rodgers in the summer, once our premier league status is settled.

Right now, we need a manager to get us out of this slump.
