I doubt if sensible will do this Trophy match...so I'll set it up....it's still Argyle playing. Already lost to Newport in our first EFL Trophy section match....so this should be a run out for our bench warmers....although Ryan Lowe needs to get his sums right here....must play so many of his first team starting eleven....or get a £5,000 fine. It does sound as if this is an opportunity to give Danny Mayor a run out and maybe also rest some important players....I would think that Callum Burton will start in goal. Quite a few comments on pasoti regarding Danny Mayor's style...that it will not fit into the present mid-field system and just slow down the fast attacking style that has done Argyle proud at the moment....we'll just have to see how things go. Impossible to know how strong either team might be tonight to know a prediction....if i remember correctly Swindon I think are having a good season.

Reading some of the comments....sounds like a poor performance....and none of the younger players are really pushing for a first team spot.
What does seem to be agreed in comments on this match is....that our fringe and younger players need regular second team fixtures to gain experience and gain match fitness for when they are called on to play...in the first team....at present they are at a disadvantage and have no realistic chance of impressing when called upon......this is one area the modern game has taken a backward step.
I think they should be able to play in the Premier League. Tell Pep Guardiola! I'm sure a few will go out on loan to National League sides in the January transfer window, assuming we can bring in a couple of senior players on loan.
