Scuffed in off his little toe.
Hopefully its what kick-starts his season.
One way traffic since the goal.

The only source of hope for Estonia is us!
Need to keep up the energy and concentration.

Moore deadly from 2 feet but they all count.

Pity we don't get the ball within 20 feet of goal.

Second goal needed to give a buffer.

Estonia actually looking like the better team in the closing stages here.

    Glad Keifer is off now.

Tired performance and in the end hanging on.
Referee didn't help with the constant whistle and the game simply didn't flow.
Still, a win is a win.

Very poor second half. No quality at all. Ramsey knackered by half time.

Definitely looked very tired but we were also very rattled by them.

Too many of the team looked like they just couldn't wait to get the hell out of there.
Totally lost our composure and far too many 1st and 2nd balls were being lost.

In saying all that, as Clingo said, a win is a win and we'll take that and move on to Belarus.

Hope City's performance is better on the weekend, though I'd take the same result!

Just having a Facebook discussion with a fellow City fan who is a dyed in the wool Wales fan who has travelled all over Europe with them in the last 25 years. He is over the moon with the win. I can't accept that. Wales were poor especially second half.

Our team of mainly Prem or foreign equivalent and Championship players struggled against a of team of players from where..... Estonia ffs. It was like us beating Sutton, okay but should have been a lot better.

A win, great, yes, but I'm totally underwhelmed. We will beat Belarus (I hope)then have to get a draw v Belgium to ensure second place and a home draw in the play offs. Hardly a given is it?

3, 4 or 5 goals tonight would have put pressure on the Czechs for their last game. Instead the pressure is on us, with a fit Bale unlikely.

Moore booked in successive games for nothing so he’s out of the next game. These euro refs are so fussy and inconsistent.
Hope he’s not got a head injury which forces him to sit out Sunday.
Wales were dreadful - like chalk and cheese from Prague.
Wales will likely need a draw v Belgium.

    Understand your frustration there BfB.
I think we got a little bit complacent tonight and stopped playing with the spirit that we have against some stronger sides. It's certainly something that will need to be addressed. That said, Ramsey looked like a player who had gone through 135 minutes of intense effort after very little pitch time. In fact, I thought the whole team looked tired.
Have to say I have a bit of empathy with your friend, it's difficult to come to terms with expectation after following and supporting your country that's more used to losing. But yes, it could have been a lot better.

Not with you on this BfB, cost a few goals with his lack of knowing where he should be, his distribution is dire, not for me.. get rid I say.

Weren't that far away from winning 3 from 3.

Funny how expectations change. Up until our run to the semis of the euros a few years back we'd have been happy with any win, including against Estonia.
    Now we expect more.
Im still in the mode where if we win more than we lose we've done well.

I do wonder whether we actually fired Estonia up a bit with our pre-match "attitude"?

If you think about it, the management were saying how we were going all out to score lots of goals from the off. That could be taken as being rather arrogant and dismissive of the Estonian team in their own backyard.

It would certainly explain why they were kicking lumps our of us and had that extra ounce of determination as the game wore on.

It's definitely an odd time to be a Welsh fan. I totally get those that still see any win as a good win but we also can't deny that expectations are definitely a lot higher these days.

They say it's the hope that kills you but where football is concerned I'm still very much someone who believes that going into games with hope is far, far better than going in with expectation (and risking being like England and their ridiculous misconception of it "coming home" in every tournament).

We should try exceptionally hard to never lose our humility.

Didn't he keep us in front with that brilliant save second half? I didn't see him put a foot wrong last night.

Our next choice is Hennessey who has also served us well in the past but has hardly played for 2 years.

    Very true Brizzle.
Expectation is rightly growing. However we still need to accept we are a small nation who need to dip into the lower leagues for our squad.
Down the years we've always had the odd world class player. What we've learned in recent years us how best to exploit that class.
In the past it was give it to giggs, or hughes or rush and see what they can do.
Now the "lesser players" provide the environment for the class to shine. We have a game plan, a style, an identity (wish the bluebirds could say the same), playing as a team with the whole greater than the sum of the parts.
Still not perfect but a big improvement on the 70s, 80s and 90s.
As you rightly say, keep the humility, accept we're punching above our weight, maintain perspective and above all, enjoy the good times.
