I seems it was a faulty pitch-side monitor that caused the fire, there does seem to be damage on, or close to the pitch, not sure if you can chop a bit out and replace it, but it must put an international qualification game in doubt... please log in to view this image
Owen Hargreaves was born and raised in Calgary before signing for Bayern Munich. Didn't stop him playing (and playing very well) for England despite never having lived or played there at the time. Obviously chose not to play for Canada or Wales (eligible through his mother). I think his dad was from Bolton hence his eligibility for England.

So 4 cry-offs today and Bowen still doesn't get a look in. But Smith-Rowe does....not sure what Bowen has to do. Smith-Rowe came up through the England system whereas Jarrod's development hasnt't been so sexy. Says it all and a bit unfair. SR is good but c'mon he's only just started playing for Arsenal.
