Slowest movie ever, loads of long musical bits with long looks and contemplating expressions, 40min sex scene in slo mo.

Bait plot, no surprises.

I take it you're not a fan of Locke either then?

I rate the latter far higher simply because Hardy is a vastly superior actor to Gyllenhal but totally understand why people would detest both films. Not for everyone.

 

I've never seen Locke. You comparing it to The Guilty has put me off ever watching it though

 

Haven't seen The Guilty but kinda enjoyed Locke but **** knows why it's a bloke driving down the M4 for 90 minutes, there something interesting but you have to be in the mood to chill.

 

Or in the mood to watch a master craftsman at work. Hardy in Locke should be compulsory viewing for any aspiring actor.

 

Yes but is it really that good? Hardy is good but nothing special imo. I enjoyed it but couldn't really say it's a great film or some kind of masterpiece.

Decent for a first time watch, not one you'd probably willingly put on again though unless it's on the TV and you've nothing else to stick on.
