Not as big a part as the lawyers, Ashley and PIF negotiating behind the scenes. But the sheer persistence of the fanbase, pushing MPs and getting the Gov involved on minor levels certainly pushed both the Reubens and Amanda to keep with the deal. Amanda's husband and Jamie Reuben were very, very active with the fans on Twitter. they were both in the stadium today posing for pics, they're both buzzing.
