I’m currently supposed to be enjoying a week in Cumbria but the weather is ruining it. Don’t know why I expected it to be any different given the time of year and the fact I’m stuck on the exposed Furness peninsula.

Apparently after 1am the wind and rain just nashes off for the foreseeable. This kind of rain is rare, heavy constant lashing down. Time of year i suppose.

Apparently it's going to get up to 20 degrees again in the next couple of days. Have your sun lotion ready for the weekend.

The wind caught the passenger door of my truck last night as my son was getting out the car. Slammed it into the bin store and I have a nice dent in it now #raging

I'm planning on going for a walk this morning (supervised and probably a few hundred yards) so the sunshine is lovely for me 'cos I haven't been out since a week on saturday . . . . I'm all excited :1980_boogie_down:
