Monty needs banning. His sad pathetic negative posts that he makes to try and ignite a response and abit of entertainment in his sad little life has gone on for far too long now. I know im guilty of giving him what he wants. Enoughs enough though

Sunderland's defence of the Papa John's Trophy begins on Tuesday night, as the Lads take on Lincoln City at the LNER Stadium (KO 7pm). Lee Johnson's side will not only look to respond to Saturday's disappointment against Portsmouth, but also potentially see an opportunity for some younger players to try and impress. Team news There are expected to be numerous changes made by Johnson to his team selection for the group opener in Lincolnshire, with several youngsters in contention. Denver Hume could make his return from a long-term hamstring injury after featuring for the Under-23s last week, and Lee Burge is expected to start in goal. Ollie Younger and Ellis Taylor may be involved, with Under-23 players Ethan Kachosa, Will Harris and Kenton Richardson among those pushing for an opportunity for competitive debuts. Opposition Lincoln City will meet the Lads for the second time in the space of eight months in the competition, having been beaten by Johnson's men via a penalty shootout in February's semi-final at the Stadium of Light. The home side in fact play their third and final group game against the Lads, having already beaten both Bradford City and Manchester United's Under-21s earlier in the season. The Imps' boss Michael Appleton has claimed he is expecting to name a strong line-up for Tuesday's contest, potentially seeing a reunion with former Black Cat, Chris Maguire. Lincoln currently sit 16th in the Sky Bet League One table, having taken 12 points from a possible 33 - winning and drawing three matches apiece. Appleton's men seek their first win in three. Around the grounds A host of Trophy ties will be played on Tuesday night alongside the Lads' visit to the LNER Stadium, with Bolton Wanderers taking on Liverpool U21, Southampton's youngsters heading to Charlton Athletic and the Lads' final opponents of last term Tranmere Rovers visiting 2020 winners Salford City. Elsewhere, Newcastle U21 travel to Harrogate, Accrington host Leicester's young side and MK Dons host Wycombe. Tickets and streaming Tickets for away supporters for Tuesday night's match at the LNER Stadium will now be available to buy at the stadium on the night, at a cost of £10 for adults, £5 for seniors (65+) and 18-21s, and £2 for under-18s. SAFSee streaming will be available to both UK and international-based supporters - streaming passes can be purchased here. Social media coverage will as ever be provided by the club's official platforms on Twitter @SunderlandAFC, and Instagram @sunderlandafcofficial.
Most of the new lads have settled well mate. Broadhead, Doyle, Huggins and Cirkin look to have been great signings. Evans looks like he's played here for years. Dajaku already has a great goal to his name, but needs more time to adapt. Hoffman has started well. Really only Pritchard who we need to see more from imo.
Looks like heavy rain is forecast. I wonder if there will be any comparisons to Saturday. We could use flippers instead of boots!
