A junior bumper, or as I call them, a race for backward useless flat boats.

Is in this months 'Horses in Training sale'. Not sure if that makes you more confident, less confident or concerns you not a jot!

Morning, team (although a belated morning as this is actually my 3rd post of the thread!),

I see the Racing Post have reported that Lieutenant Henderson has booked Oisin Murphy for Buzz at the weekend. Now being quoted in single figures. Am so looking forward to this rare runner on the level for the forum's favourite trainer. Insert your own joke here.

Meanwhile, horse to look out for from the last few days??? Kingsofthemidlands for me. Finished 4th at Ascot on Friday (on his first run for 5 months) and this morn was given an opening handicap mark of 78. That looks highly exploitable to my eye, crew.

    Good luck all.

William Buick jocked up which can only be viewed as a positive. I see that WP Mullins has also announced his jockey booking re the race. Ryan Moore on M C Muldoon the other headliner for him.

Re all the sales talk I see that Withhold is also in the 'Horses In Training Sale' and set to run in the 'Ces'. Mr Charlton has secured the services of his fave jockey, James Doyle.

I don't. I hadn't bet on the race and I'm considering not betting on bumpers unless I see something absolutely irresistible.

Money was for the third home, well supported from double figures to 4/1 at the start. I think that will work out to be a very decent bumper for 3 year olds. The winner cost a cool 300k and the second is well regarded at home. The third was very eyecatching and can win races in this sphere or perhaps on the flat too.

The winner surely goes for a flat race next?
