I think GHoddle10 later became Greaves357, and yes he did wind me up, firstly because he wanted Jake Livermore to play LB and later because he insisted Hugo Lloris was world class, despite me pointing out he is weak on his near post and his distribution is often bang average.

Just to add to this post on the Bill Nich, I've just realised that Michael Oliver is reffing the Utd match.
He's also on VAR for us tomorrow, according to the Premier League site.

 

I guess we can figure out who'll be getting a penalty...

I'll be more impressed if Ndombele can do that on the pitch, where it matters.
Sticking him in a position to do so would help, admittedly.

Still not a fan of 433 but if we're to insist on it, this is the way to go. As long as Tanguy is deployed centrally ahead of Hojbjerg and Skipp.

Japh not even on the bench. Is he injured? Hope that's the story, cos if he's the only one taking the coach's wrath for last Sunday that would be a disgrace.

Hopefully Ndombele turns up and starts loading the guns for Kane & Son. If he doesn't then there's not much positivity in that lineup before going to the bench.

 

The difference between 433 and 4231 is minimal. 1 player moving several yards forward or back. I think the discipline and attitude of the players is more important.

It’s currently just pass pass pass pass with an ongoing press from Villa, where we then attempt a long ball/through ball, which ends up being mopped up by villa quite easily. I don’t know what we work on during training.
