I wouldn't be suprised if we come away with a point from this but a defeat with a good performance would be acceptable.
Just watched the Wolves game again and honestly don't know how we lost that. Loads of good chances created and undone by a sucker punch of a long ball. Had to been the other way around we would undoubtedly be praising the attacker rather than criticising the defender. Personally, I stand by my original view that Bedders did not make a huge mistake (unlike Romeu in a similar situ later in the game). He was simply out-muscled (out-pulled??) by Raul. Not taking our chances was not down to misfiring strikers but to good defending and a MOTM performance by their keeper. My point is, we are looking pretty solid this season but just lacking a bit of luck in front of goal. I'm not necessarily expecting that to change today but I don't think Chelsea will score more than one goal which gives us every chance of at least a point. I'm not expecting too many personnel changes for this one. Maybe Perraud for KWP (rotation means the fullback slots will have to change fairly regularly)
That seems about right, keep the back 7 together and rotate the front 4. I just hope that Redders plays with his head up today.
Worth remembering that Redmond was the only one to find the back of the net last week. Offside but he did take it well. He's benefitting from better players around him. I can see the logic of Tella. With A Armstrong we've got two pacy players to chase the ball on breakaways.
Yeah we clearly want to try and hit them on the break. I worry about who's going to hold the ball up though.
I am with you there - Adams normally is the one but to be fair he has been pretty crap as holdup this year IMO
