From the BBC footy feed, does it bode well for Saturday? Or are we still doomed? "23:01 Post update FT: Juventus 1-0 Chelsea Romelu Lukaku had a shot easily saved after seven minutes tonight. That was the only shot on target Chelsea have had in their last two games."
Yeah basically two games ago, after Chelsea smashed Spurs, Tom layeth a mighty curse upon them by claiming they will win the league. Saturday is shaping up to be a whirlwind of curses and counter-curses, that frankly my limited intellect is going to struggle to decipher.
Romeu or Armstrong? Feeling confident on this one. We will raise our game against Chelsea. Seem to be doing better against the top sides than those around us so far this season...
My barber refuses to cut my hair as he reckons there are too many small live things infesting it. Wasn't there a poem about that at one time?
Since the year 2000, we have played Chelsea 31 times and won just 5 times and drawn 9 times, which at least gives us a 14/16 split of getting something or nothing, against them. Our last 3 visits to Stamford Bridge however, have seen us pick up a win and 2 draws, so we hopefully go there feeling good about our chances. Also, hopefully, Mason Mount remains on the injured list for this one, as he will most certainly be up for beating us, as you would expect from anyone from Pompey, JWP excepted.
Great news about Stuey, I really hope he is involved on Saturday and who can forget his major contribution to this classic team goal at the Bridge a couple of seasons ago?...
