we don't really need to do this. Its more about the body shape and which way you offer the guy. Its far better a person used to offering the outside on the right does the job than a left full filling in.

just offer the outside all game imo.

the one thing i'd say is with grealish diving i would avoid gomez playing as he is too rash and will just end up booked and arguing with refs over the flopper.

Let milner take real lumps out of the guy.

absolutely. If you want a reliable goal scorer who's on fire, well who else but the big man.

like Lewandoski or anyone BUT BLOODY ORIGI!

Not really looking forward to this game in all honesty i dont think we're there just yet defensively and if we cant control the midfield we will have a hard time against the oil cheats.

Trents out so id go for milly over gomez there, hes smart enough to handle greleash or sterling with silent gusto, the latter may even throw a wobbly over it. Throw on tmiskas there later if we have to chase the game perhaps.

Thiago is on crutches still so fab as the dm and personally id go for hendo and curtis again, curtis on the left although he and hendo switched a few times in the last game so it shouldnt matter or theyll work out whats best in game.

Bobby looked really up for it when he came in against Porto and mane hasnt been at his best so id opt for bobby swapping with jota on the left.

I'd have to agree on all of that.

Jota wide left v walker is as likely to work as mane displacing every pass and not beating anyone as Walker will match for pace anyway.

Bobby dropping into midfield imo will be necessary anyway to gain the foothold needed

Tough match of course. But I see us winning 2-0. Salah scoring his usual goal.

City blow hot and cold atm. Depends on whether Pep overthinks it. If he does and tinker we should win with room to spare at the end.

Mane is suffering from the eye test. He no longer is as explosive as he used to look. However he is our second top scorer and will play. It is a question of Bobby vs Jota

I honestly cannot see us losing this match. Our attack is on fire as we have scored at least three in the last 6 games. Which no one has done. Confident we’ll continue that trend. TAA being injured is a potential problem but we have a reliable cover in Milner.

maybe so but mane had an absolute mare Tuesday.

You can see he's in the right place but every touch and reaction and pass are woeful. I've rarely seen a player struggle that much in terms of that part of the game but look absolutely fine getting about and being in the right place. Its far more common to see guys struggle to get near the ball and look leggy but then be able to do something on it.

    really don't understand it.

For me if you want a press and to boss the midfield i'd start jota and firmino and see if mane can come on. However.... I'm doubting it for fitness as jota looks a 70minute player and bobby can't be fit for 90. Maybe starting mane is wiser. Its hard to know.

Bayern munich are the only side as dominant at the moment <whistle> 15 goals in 5 games.

We are only scoring the 3 three.

Yep. we have scored 23 goals in the last 7 in all competitions including the premiership and the champions league. And we have the Anfield crowd as 12th man.

super confident we’ll turn over City despite their good match against Chelsea.
