Considering Milner was taken off early, I would assume not.

Pleased with that result. As Klopp said, not the best performance but a win is a win, never looked in doubt.

The thing Milner provides is that he mixes it up. We're lucky to have someone who can play almost anywhere and gives everything in every game.

Salah is doing more and more in defence and looking stronger while he's doing it. Can't question his desire and effort at all.

porto had nothing up front to hurt us. nothing.

same as watching leipzig last year absolutely nothing to worry about.

Brentford lobbed it at the big lad. Konate imo would have done better imo than matip. City is different, it'll be played round us.

the biggest worry for me is pace at milner who will get walked past, give a yellow and then can't tackle OR pace at joe gomez who then backs off and fouls.

City are doing well of set piece with their cbs now but in attack they are a cut in side and pay it in type team. The biggest single thing i do not want to see is someone showing sterling the inside as frankly i'd send him wide every blooody time and ask him to pick someone out then let him cut in for an open goal (he only misses 2/3 chances)

We'll have to play ten yards deeper with Milner at RB. I love bringing the bloke on as an assasin-DM in the second half of games, but 90 minutes against City? We have to play Joe at RB, imo. I know some blamed him for Porto's goal last night, but I'd still use him before Milner.

they scored after we sent of and gomez on and honeslty we didn't actually bother defending the cross. If that was still 2-0 i doubt they score tbh and honestly we were very very comfortable. I was worried first half the other shoe would inevitably drop and we would get whacked by a against the run of play goal but that simply didn't come when the game was live.

Grealish will play against Milner who is more tight space than pure pace. He dealt with zahas pace on last time though

We lost a lead twice, but at the end of the day we're still undefeated. There's no such thing as a perfect season. Now if the Bees found some new exploit into our defenses that other teams had never seen before... That could be problematic... But at the end of the day, there was nothing new... Just unlucky Brentford had three good attempts on goal that ended up counting.

19 games in all competitions since our last defeat.
    Won 15 drawn 4. GF 47 GA 13
Still, if we're not perfect, the gloomsters are out in force.
When we do finally lose - and obviously Sunday is a prime candidate for it - it'll be The End Of The World again.

I personally doubt it as fans would have to vote and they won't take foreign ownership (IMO)

they are bankrupt in all but name.

something has to give though. fan's or ego?
